Early NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti retailer listings point to US$450 price tags and possible late November arrival for AIB cards
It is no secret that NVIDIA plans to release the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti, with the two cards having popped up numerous times online in the last few months. Most recently, we have seen the latter appear on GPU-Z, but Gigabyte has also certified multiple RTX 3060 Ti models with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. Now, pre-orders for both cards have appeared on Taobao, the world's largest e-commerce website.
The pictures on Taobao may well be placeholders, but one listing suggests that the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti will hit the market before the end of November. According to @Avery78, who discovered the listings, this release date of November 30 may be for add-in board (AIB) partner cards, although it is unclear if NVIDIA also plans to release Founders Edition cards.
Both cards are expected to retail for in the region of US$450, but the prices on Taobao appear to just be deposits, not the retail price of either the RTX 3060 or RTX 3060 Ti. Both cards are thought to feature 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, but the RTX 3060 Ti will reputedly have 4,864 CUDA cores to the RTX 3060's 3,840. NVIDIA apparently has an RTX 3070 Ti too, along with another Ampere card that sits between the performance of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090.
