Samsung Galaxy A40 with Exynos SoC rumored to have a European price tag of €249

MySmartPrice has reported that the Samsung Galaxy A40 smartphone will be sold in Europe, at a price of €249 (~US$283). The device will be part of the same series as the recently launched A10, A30, and A50 smartphones. The A40 is expected to hit European markets soon and may also be sold in India at some point in the future.

Bixby remapping now available on older Samsung Galaxy devices as well

Samsung is now offering the ability to remap the Bixby button on older flagships such as the Galaxy Note 9, S9/S9+, Note 8, and S8/S8+. The update is available via the Galaxy Store and allows the user to select a custom app to launch with either a single or double tap of the Bixby but not both. This means Bixby Home will continue to be available and the user cannot totally disable it.

The independent benchmark DxOMark has given the Samsung Galaxy S10+ first place in its rankings for smartphone front cameras. At the moment, there are only 13 devices in the new selfie chart but Samsung has beaten out contenders from Google, Xiaomi, and Apple. The S10+’s front camera system was commended for its accurate autofocus and color capture.

We've known about most of these features thanks to the bevy of rumors and leaks that have been floating around the Internet for months, but the devices look to be respectable upgrades over the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Both phones feature triple-camera setups, in-display fingerprint sensor, and reverse wireless charging, among others. However, the phones come with a hefty price tag, starting at $900 and $1000, respectively.

Galaxy Sport: fresh leak suggests new direction for the new Samsung smartwatch

The Samsung Gear Sport may get a successor soon, which is likely to be called the Galaxy Sport. This smartwatch will be the first product to feature Bixby Reminders. A new leak allegedly associated with this wearable shows that it may ditch the rotating bezel that has become a hallmark of Tizen devices.
