Xiaomi is looking for more pilot testers to receive MIUI 12 Global Stable Beta updates. The company has already selected the candidates to test MIUI 12 on the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Poco F1, and now it is recruiting people to test the OS update on the Mi 10. Xiaomi will accept applications until July 16.

Huawei has confirmed its EMUI 10.1 upgrade plans for Africa, Asia, Canada, Japan, Latin America, the Middle East and Russia. The company's latest OS includes new features like MeeTime and Celia, along with improved multitasking.

Oppo is set to bring 125 W fast charging to its smartphones in the near future. The company has teased an announcement on July 15 that will reveal more about its plans and launch timeline.

The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T may get the official MIUI 12 update some time in August, according to a reply from the Xiaomi Device Team to a query posted on the Mi Community forums. With regards to the Redmi Note 8 Pro, several global units have started receiving stable MIUI 12. @Vivo_India tweeted the launch date for Vivo’s X50 series. The Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro will both arrive on July 16th. The Pro will feature an innovative gimbal camera for capturing video. However, high pricing and the midrange Snapdragon 765G make the value proposition questionable.

A new leak has given us a better idea of what the Google Pixel 5 may look like. The square camera module from the Pixel 4 makes a re-appearance, as well as the rear capacitive fingerprint reader from the Pixel 3. There also appears to be only two rear cameras.

XDA’s Max Weinbach has more bad news for Samsung fans groaning at the possibility the new Galaxy Note 20 could be lumped with the Exynos 990. Now Weinbach says that Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 2 will be a no show at the upcoming August 5 Galaxy Unpacked Event as had been expected.

Last week, it was revealed that the Mi A2 Lite, Poco F2 Pro, and Mi A3 would receive native call recording as a feature on Android 11. Apparently, the Mi A3 will receive another feature too: native screen recording, which is already present on Android 11 beta builds.

Xiaomi has extended the rollout of MIUI 12 to the Indian versions of the Redmi K20 and Mi 9T. The update is arriving as an OTA and is available to download now.

Recent information indicates that the OnePlus Nord may be more expensive than previously thought, but a new leak will stoke the flames of expectant fans. Apparently, OnePlus is working on a new device that will feature the Snapdragon 690 and be even cheaper than the OnePlus Nord.

While the Redmi Y2/S2 is slated to receive the official MIUI 12 update later this year, those who are eager to try out the latest features can now do so thanks to a custom ROM released by the Xiaomi.eu team. In a shock, a possibility has emerged that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra models could continue to be powered by Samsung’s underwhelming Exynos 990 in markets outside the USA and China. XDA’s Max Weinbach and Samsung insider @Universeice have indicated that this could be possible with Winebach confirming he has seen no references in the Samsung’s source code to any Exynos 992 variant making its way into either device.

New information has surfaced, indicating that Google is working on an entirely new phone that will be called the Pixel 4A 5G, with codename "Bramble". This, of course, opens up the possibility of the Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5G both using the same SoC.

Details of the upcoming Realme 6i for the Indian market have been accidentally leaked on Flipkart. Fortunately, a tipster managed to screenshot the information before it was taken down. It seems the Realme 6i will sport a MediaTek Helio G90T processor and an affordable price tag to help it take on the soon to be released Redmi Note 9.

Lenovo's first gaming phone has been implicated in a Geekbench leak before. Now, this has happened again - although this time, the purported device in question has double the RAM compared to before. Its specs point to the Snapdragon 865, although it is now thought to have the Plus variant of this SoC.

The designs of Samsung's next flagship tablets have been revealed. Featuring thin bezels and AKG-branding, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ will be Samsung's answer to Apple's iPad Pro range. The Tab S7 series may launch as soon as July 22.

Tipster @UniverseIce showed off a snazzy pair of Samsung Galaxy Note 21 and Galaxy Note 21 Ultra renders. The unofficial designs showcase a zero-bezel display, with what appear to be an under-display front camera and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Renders and specs of the Huawei MatePad T10 and Huawei MatePad T10s have been leaked. The two new tablets from the Chinese OEM feature the 14nm Kirin 710A chipset and from 2 GB to 3 GB RAM depending on the model. No prices have been leaked, but the specs suggest the MatePad T10 and T10s will be budget tablets.

Huawei has confirmed that it will be upgrading 13 devices to EMUI 10.1 in Western Europe. The company's latest in-house OS is an incremental update on EMUI 10, which will be replaced by EMUI 11 later this year.

Xiaomi has announced that random Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S devices in India will start receiving the Android 10-based version of MIUI 11. The beta stable update has the version code V11.0.2.0 QFGINXM and if all goes well then a wider public rollout of the software for the Redmi Note 7 will follow shortly afterwards.

According to Redmi product director Wang Teng, Xiaomi is currently working on a new Mi 10 flagship phone. The phone is expected to be the Mi 10 Pro+, going by recent rumors, and could very well break the US$1000 MSRP mark.

Prolific leaker Evan Blass has leaked the OnePlus Nord's spec sheet in its entirety. The phone will be unveiled on July 21st via an interactive online event.

Leaked marketing renders of the Galaxy Watch Active 3 seemingly put the upcoming smartwatch on a collision course with a July 22 launch date, two weeks ahead of Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. Now, a rumour has emerged that the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus will also be arriving on July 22 alongside the Galaxy Watch Active 3.

Android 10 (Go edition) has been made available for the Nokia 1, a handset that HMD Global released well over two years ago. The update will roll out in waves and is the second OS upgrade for the Nokia 1.

Samsung is all set to release two new tablets alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5. The Galaxy Tab S7+ will feature a 12.4-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, a 10,000mAh battery that supports charging at 15W, new S-Pen features. The full design of the OnePlus Nord has been revealed. Sporting four rear-facing cameras and two front-facing ones, the OnePlus Nord will have more cameras than the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus has confirmed that an AMOLED panel will be onboard, which will be joined by a 4,115 mAh battery.

iQOO has launched the Z1x as the world's latest Snapdragon 765G-powered device. It also has the 120Hz refresh rate in its FHD+ LCD screen, as promised in its hype-phase. The phone also offers a 5000mAh battery that charges at 33 watts (W) and "PC-grade" cooling for as little as 1598 yuan to its new Chinese audience.

The impending arrival of the Redmi Note 9 in India has been teased by Xiaomi India’s managing director. Some may decry the appearance of another smartphone from the Chinese OEM on the Indian market, but Xiaomi has reported that almost 99% of its smartphones and 85% of its Mi TVs are actually made locally.

A new leak has dropped some information on an upcoming phone that may just turn out to be the first Huawei Mate 40 series device: the Mate 40 Lite. The phone is expected to be branded as a Maimang-series offering in China as is typical with the Mate Lite lineup.

A report states that MediaTek is on track to release its newest Dimensity 600 chip in the coming weeks. It is intended for low-cost 5G smartphones and is expected to make its debut in Q3 2020.

A Twitter tipster has claimed that the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series will not be capable of a 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rate when their displays are set to a QHD+ resolution, according to someone currently in possession of these devices. Therefore, they may be restricted to the higher rate at FHD+ only, as with the current S20 flagships. This contradicts an earlier rumor on the subject.

According to a report by a South Korean media outlet, some upcoming Samsung phones might come without a charger in the box. Samsung says that most smartphone users already have a charger and don't need a new one every time they buy a phone. The move will also help Samsung save a few extra bucks and pass the savings on to the customer.
