Nokia launches Android TVs in Europe through Streamview
Nokia has partnered with Streamview to offer new Android TVs to the European market. This series contains the same screen sizes as in those sold exclusively through Flipkart in India (32, 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches), but also has 58- and 75-inch SKUs. All of these new LED devices are 4K, with the exception of the smallest (the 3200A).
On that note, they seem to be wholly different models from Nokia's Indian-market TVs, as they have new model numbers (xx00A) and bear no mention of special audio partners such as Onkyo or JBL in their marketing material. Nevertheless, they all have dual speakers, which add up to 12 watts (W) for the 3200A; 20W in the 4300A, 5000A, 5500A, and 5800A; and 24W in the 6500A and 7500A.
They all also feature Dolby Digital Plus for their audio, as well as DTS with the exception of the 3200A. The FHD model also has 1GB of RAM with 8GB of memory, whereas the rest have 1.5GB. They are all also powered by an "ARM CA55 Quad-Core" processor (which probably means it has 4 Cortex-A55s) and a Mali470 MP3 GPU.
This new Nokia TV series will start at €400 for the 3200A, risiing to $1400 for the 7500A. They will be available to order from December 1, 2020 via their new licensee.
