Boardcon has announced the EMH6, its new single-board computer. The Boardcon EMH6 is based on the Allwinner H6 chipset, 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB of eMMC flash storage. The machine has loads of I/O too, although its OS support is somewhat lacking.

Boardcon has unveiled its latest single-board computer (SBC), the EMH6. The company has based the board on the Allwinner H6 chipset, which offers four ARM Cortex-A53 cores and an ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU clock at 600 MHz. Accordingly, the EMH6 supports DirectX 11 and OpenGL ES3.

Boardcon has also included 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM in the 140 x 100 mm board, along with 8 GB of eMMC flash storage, a microSD card slot and an M.2 slot for adding an NVMe SSD. The EMH6 has a bounty of I/O too, including an HDMI 2.0 connection, a 24-pin connector for adding a 13 MP OV13850 camera and dual Ethernet ports. Additionally, Boardcon has equipped the SBC with a SIM card, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. You can view the full I/O that the EMH6 offers below.

Oddly, the EMH6 only support Android 7.1.2, Linux 3.10 and u-boot 2014.07 out of the box, which are all rather outdated. It is unclear how much the EMH6 costs too, as Boardcon requests that you contact them before placing an order. The board appears to be available to order now, though.
