The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 has been cancelled in an effort to help control the spread of the novel coronavirus worldwide. Now, a prominent imaging hardware show, CP+ (or the Camera and Photo Imaging Show) 2020, has followed suit. It was to take place in Yokohama, Japan, and may have attracted about 70000 visitors.

Meizu's next flagship phone series with be called "17th", according to a new leak. It includes a render purporting to show the Plus variant of this line. It has a distinctly Galaxy S20-esque display, whereas the rear panel has a...unique gradient effect that goes from a very bright yellow to a neon green. This phone is also purported to come with the Snapdragon 865 and 3 to 4 rear cameras.

Some recent leaks have asserted that the second-generation Find X flagship phone from OPPO will have a 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rate at a QHD+ resolution. The freshly-launched Samsung Galaxy S20 series has similar properties - however, they don't co-exist in real-world devices. In addition, the X2 is rumored to have some new Sony camera sensors.

The 1 TB option will be even faster with sequential read and write rates of up to 2100 MB/s and 1650 MB/s, respectively. The manufacturer will offer 3-year warranty as standard with support for Advanced Wear Leveling to prolong the lifespan of NAND flash.

iQOO is a Chinese smartphone brand that has made a name for itself in recent years by offering high-end hardware at decent price-points. Now, it has revealed that its next such device is to be called the 3 5G. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and have the next-gen UFS 3.1 storage standard.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are upcoming flagships likely to rock the Snapdragon 865 processor. They have been just been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, putting their imminent launch beyond doubt. This new approval also drops an interesting extra detail: these phones will run a heretofore-unknown version of their OEM's OS skin.

ASRock has a new mini-PC board ready to go. As it appears to be designed for the Intel Pentium Silver J5040 chipset, it may be pitched at the lower end of this market. It can drive up to 3 displays and has an HDMI port that supports 4K at 60 fps, but no USB type-C ports.

Samsung's next upcoming foldable phone may be called the Galaxy Z Flip. The prolific leaker Ishan Agarwal claims to have uncovered some more of its specs. It will apparently have a main screen measuring 6.7 inches. Furthermore, it may have a 12MP rear camera rather than the next-gen sensors predicted for the Galaxy S20 series.

According to a new leak, Intel has a replacement for the NUC 10 Performance mini-PCs in the works. It apparently goes under the heretofore-unknown code-name Panther Canyon, and will be powered by Tiger Lake-U processors with Xe graphics. This new rumor also covers the "NUC 11 Extreme" line, also known as Phantom Canyon.

A new listing on the TENAA regulatory website indicates that the OEM Vivo intends to reboot its Nex 3 flagship with a new version. It has an SoC with a different max clock to that of the phone's original Snapdragon 855+ processor. This upcoming device also has dual-mode 5G and a new red color.

Once, long ago, Blu-ray was touted as the gold standard in media playback. Now, however, it has sunk into obscurity among a world's worth of streaming services compatible with high-res displays. The format's market value is now thought to fall considerably until 2025.

OPPO has released the F15 to the Indian market. It is technically a new device, although it ships with an older chipset: the MediaTek Helio P70. It costs the equivalent of US$280 and will ship from January 28, 2020.

Intel has announced a shake-up in its line of Xeon scalable processors. The OEM will cease sales of the M variants of these server-grade SoCs (the Xeon Platinum 8280M, for example) will. However, their L (the Platinum 8280L, and so on) counterparts will take their place in this tier of chipsets.

Recently, a phone called the "Xiaomi POCO X2" has appeared on the Geekbench 5 database. It is listed as having 8GB of RAM, a 1.8GHz processor and as running on Android 10. However, suspiciously enough, there is another device with the exact same specs out there: the Redmi K30.

With a rear panel that boasted its own display, the Nubia Z20 remains one of 2019's most innovative premium smartphones. It originally launched at a price of US$549 (or the equivalent in other currencies). Now, however, its OEM has just issued a discount for the Snapdragon 855+ device.

Industry sources claim that Microsoft has chosen Phison as the SSD controller supplier for the upcoming Xbox Series X, so there is a fair chance we could see PCIe 4.0 read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 1 million IOPS, essentially allowing for more detailed textures, smoother gameplay and lightning fast load times.
