With little fanfare, LG has released a new phone, the Style3, in Japan. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of fixed storage, but also rocks a 1440p display and Qualcomm's 2018 flagship SoC. This phone is only available through the carrier NTT Docomo in black or white.

LG has announced the Style3 in Japan. This interesting new phone has what could be described as a contradication of specs: its display is QHD+ and OLED (which is good enough for some 2020 flagship phones), yet pairs this panel with a large, outmoded notch. It also has the reasonably powerful Snapdragon 845 processor - and dual (48+5MP) rear cameras.

Therefore, it seems to aim for what the Vivo iQOO Neo wanted to be to smartphone gaming, but focuses on the mobile display experience instead. In fact, the Style3 might have hit every note this 2019 device did, if it only had more RAM: this new LG model has only 4GB of it.

On the other hand, it also has a microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of added memory. LG has revealed that it will be sold though NTT Docomo in its new market; therefore, its price may depend on the plans and tariffs to which it will be applied on this network.
