Xiaomi has opened up registration for MIUI 12.5 beta testing in China and the list of qualifying smartphones has been shared online. While it seems owners of the China ROM variants of the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 10, and Redmi K30 can sign up, it seems there will be a wait ahead for Redmi Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite users.

The Galaxy A71 is a Samsung phone with 4G/LTE and 5G variants. Recent rumors suggest that its successor will get the same. The tipster OnLeaks has also posted renders for at least one of them that hint at 4 rear cameras and a 6.7-inch display.

A new leak indicates Huawei will add a new variant to the Mate 40 series. Despite looking like its higher-end siblings, it may be a more affordable version of the same. For example, it is rumored to have an older chipset. Then again, it also clearly has wireless charging.

The tipster also believes that premium phones in 2021 should offer a 120 Hz display and 50 W and above wired charging rates.

Samsung is slated to launch the Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the S21 series in January 2021. According to their latest leak, they will have improved active noise cancellation (ANC) and ingress-protection compared to the Buds Live. However, they may also be the costliest of their series yet.

More details about the OnePlus 9 5G have leaked, this time concerning its triple rear-facing cameras. With a base clock of just 1.8 GHz and a single-core boost speed of 4.4 GHz, the upcoming Intel Core i9-11900 processor with a TDP of 65 W can deliver the same level of single-threaded performance as the 5.3 GHz Intel Core i9-10900K. Tested on the Z490 platform, this chip should be unveiled in early 2021.

MIUI 12 only just landed for most of Xiaomi's lineup but the company is already set to unveil the next iteration of its skin. It's MIUI 12.5, though, not MIUI 13 as one would expect, and it could very well be launched on December 29 alongside the Mi 11 series.

Leaked roadmaps point to a busy 2021 and 2022 for both Intel and AMD. In 2021, we can expect to see Intel offering Rocket Lake-S and Comet Lake-Refresh parts alongside Tiger Lake-H. The Galaxy A32 is predicted to be Samsung's cheapest 5G phone of 2021. It is also said to have a design rather different from other rumored devices from this OEM. A product that might match its description has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), suggesting that it will launch in the US at least.

Samsung's highly-awaited Exynos 1080 SoC has made its first appearance on Geekbench. It manages to outperform the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with a single and multi-core score of 888 and 3,244, respectively. The chipset is expected to make its debut alongside the Vivo X60 series on December 28.

That appears to be unlikely now, however, as a new report claims that the third device will be the Mi 11 Pro+. Or, perhaps, the Mi 11 Ultra? The Galaxy S21 Ultra will have its work cut out for it in any case.

LG is slated to launch its next-gen Gram laptop series in South Korea on December 16, 2020. A leak allegedly originating from the same country purports to spill details on the 16-inch SKU from this series. It points to an 11th-gen core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 65W charging and a price that might come as a surprise considering these specs.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 has made two separate appearances on Geekbench running an Exynos 2100 chipset. In the first instance, it manages to score 828 and 2,897 in the single and multi-core test, respectively. The second time around, those numbers increase to 1,006 and 3,059.
