Motorola has just made its Edge 20 smartphones, which stand out among mid-range devices with 108MP main cameras across this new range, official in some markets that include Europe. Now, the OEM has strongly hinted that they are also headed to India some time soon.
Motorola's Edge 20, 20 Lite and 20 Pro have now debuted in certain international markets, thereby adding potentially worthwhile new options to the mid-tier smartphone market. In addition, the OEM has also launched the Pro variant in its native China, rebranded as the Edge S Pro.
Now, it seems the potential flagship killers are now destined for yet another new country: India. Motorola's official Twitter account for this regional division has posted several new teasers inviting potential buyers to "Find Your Edge", thereby sparking rumors that the new, 108MP smartphones are about to become available to them.
This might be good news for many Indian consumers, if less so for those who might already have opted for other new devices such as the Moto G60. It may be interesting to see if the 20 Pro will be sold in the new Edge S Pro's 6, 8 or 12GB SKUs (starting at 2,399 yuan (~US$371)), or as the single, ~$828 12GB option as the international variant.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
