Samsung is now believed to launch the Galaxy A52s soon. This apparently modified version of the A52 5G has been touted to come with tweaked camera specs as well as a newer SoC. However, the latest tip on the subject purports to debunk most of these rumors, asserting that the two phones will differ in just one respect.
The Galaxy A52 5G could already be called one of Samsung's greatest triumphs in the 2021 mid-range smartphone arena thus far. Some recent leaks suggest that the OEM intends to replicate this potentially winning formula with a new variant of this same phone. The Galaxy A52s is said to be a direct refresh of its close name-sake, just with a newer Qualcomm processor.
Then again, the latest tips have suggested that the upcoming phone might also come with different rear cameras, adding the 3X optical zoom spec also seen in the A72's main sensor. However, the blog GalaxyClub now purports to shoot this promising rumor down.
Therefore, the latest word on the subject knocks the putative A52s' rear cameras back down to the same 64+12+5+5 MP array found in the 'original' 5G device. This may leave the Snapdragon 778G as the only upgrade found in the possible new variant. Then again, Samsung may have at least prepared a new color option ("Awesome Mint") for its next upcoming Galaxy Axxs device.
