Leaks have already revealed that the Galaxy A22 will be available in 4G and 5G versions, such as is the case with many Samsung smartphones. While the pair may differ in more areas than just their SoC, Samsung may not sell them simultaneously in the same country. Nonetheless, we expect the 4G and 5G models to look alike.
According to DealnTech, Samsung plans to sell the Galaxy A22 5G for as little as €185, including VAT. Hence, we can expect the South Korean company to price the 4G model at even less in regions where it plans to sell it.
Based on previous rumours, Samsung will equip the Galaxy A22 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery and a 6.4-inch display. The device should also support 15 W fast charging, a given for most devices these days. Incidentally, the Galaxy A22 5G is expected to feature a 48 MP primary camera, supported by secondary 5 MP and tertiary 2 MP sensors.
It is unclear when Samsung will unveil the Galaxy A22. However, its appearance on DealnTech suggests that Samsung is close to announcing the device.
