MIUI 12.5 reaches the Mi 9 SE, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and POCO X3 Pro outside of China
Xiaomi may not have communicated it, but it has started rolling out MIUI 12.5 globally. Earlier this month, the company issued the OS upgrade to the Mi 11, the first device to receive MIUI 12.5 outside of China. Since then, it has brought MIUI 12.5 to the Redmi Note 10 Pro, both versions of it, although the new model may only be called the Redmi Note 10 Pro in China.
Now, the company has begun distributing MIUI 12.5 to other devices on phase one and two of its global release schedule. So far, Xiaomi has made MIUI 12.5 available to the Mi 9 SE, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and the POCO X3 Pro, with the SE continuing to receive special treatment for some reason.
However, we should stress that while Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12.5 to the public, it has only done so for those who have enrolled on the Mi Pilot scheme. Nonetheless, you could try flashing MIUI 12.5 on your device if it has an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery installed. You can find the links for the corresponding MIUI 12.5 builds below. We cannot guarantee that this will work, of course, nor would we necessarily recommend doing so if it is your daily device.
