Xiaomi has confirmed more details about its next Redmi Note 10 smartphone, presumed to be the Redmi Note 10 Ultra. The device will have a 120 Hz display with 240 Hz touch sampling, UFS 3.1 storage and four rear-facing cameras, among other features.

Xiaomi has revealed more details about its next Redmi Note 10 handset, rumoured to be the Redmi Note 10 Ultra. Due to be announced on May 26 at 14:00 CST (08:00 UTC), the device is expected to launch for CNY 1,799 (~US$280). Unfortunately, it is unclear if Xiaomi plans to release the Redmi Note 10 Ultra globally.

So far, Xiaomi has confirmed that the device will have an IPS display with 240 Hz touch sampling and a variable refresh rate. Apparently, the Redmi Note 10 Ultra will be capable of operating at 24 Hz, 25 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz, presumably to prolong battery life. Additionally, the display will support the DCI-P3 colour space and is rumoured to be 6.53-inches across.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 10 Ultra will have UFS 3.1 storage, a technology typically reserved for flagship smartphones. Xiaomi has hinted that the device will have a 5 nm SoC, although the company is expected to utilise the Dimensity 1100 instead, a 6nm SoC. Regardless, the Redmi Note 10 Ultra will support Bluetooth 5.2, NFC 3.0 and vapour chamber liquid cooling.
