Xiaomi is set to debut a new batch of phones in the Redmi Note 10 series. The company launched the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro a few months ago and is now set to introduce a few other devices, with the crowning jewel of the lineup billed to be the Redmi Note 10 Ultra. Details of the phone have been revealed ahead of a planned May 26 launch.
The Redmi Note 10 Ultra is set to sport a 6.53-inch AMOLED, likely with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood will be a MediaTek Dimensity 1100. MediaTek's Dimensity series has offered excellent performance, and the Dimensity 1100 will be no different, as it should offer power on a similar level to last year's Snapdragon 865. The Redmi Note 10 Ultra appears to be a gaming-centric device of sorts, and there's a chance it offers UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera-wise, the Redmi Note 10 Ultra is expected to use the 64 MP OV64B sensor as its main shooter, which will be joined by an ultra-wide camera and a macro lens. Delivering power will be a 5000 mAh battery, with 33 W fast-charging to keep charge times down.
The Redmi Note 10 Ultra is set to continue Xiaomi's theme of affordability, with MSRP tipped to be ¥1799 ($279, €229).
