MIUI code has revealed that an upcoming Xiaomi device, expected to be the Mi Mix 4, will offer ultra-wideband support. That device will be the first phone by Xiaomi to do so, joining an elite lineup consisting currently only of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra as well as the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and Galaxy S21 series.

Xiaomi is set to release its next premium smartphone, the Mi Mix 4, sometime in August. A few days, a display protector of the phone leaked, revealing that it would, in fact, sport an under-display selfie camera. More information has now also been revealed about the Mi Mix 4 ahead of launch.

According to new reports, the Mi Mix 4 will offer ultra-wideband support. The source shows MIUI code for a device codenamed "Odin" that hints heavily at the presence of ultra-wideband support. That phone appears to be the Mi Mix 4. This would make the Mi Mix 4 Xiaomi's first device with ultra-wideband, joining an exclusive list of phones including the iPhone 11 series, iPhone 12 series, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and the Galaxy S21 series.

The Mi Mix 4 has also stopped by at TENAA. There's nothing particularly interesting about the listing, but it does tell us that the phone is getting even closer to release. It also appears that it will be available in two configurations: 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB. There have been rumors of a 512 GB model, too, however.
