Business On-the-Go. The AsusPro is a declaration of war upon the business middle-class. Docking interface, DisplayPort, eSATA and ExpressCard accompanied by comfortable input devices. Business at its Best?

Multimedia ultrabook. The elegant purists are slowly mutating to versatile multimedia machines. Samsung's new ultrabook sports a GeForce graphics card and DVD burner at a reasonable price. Is it an all-rounder or a bad compromise?

Budget all-rounder. Lenovo sends its 15-inch notebook off to the race, this time with the AMD Vision processor and dual GPU. The AMD-only combination seems quite unique, since most competitors rely either on Intel and Nvidia or Intel and AMD.

Two in one. And yet another device in the midrange sector that sports unremarkable hardware. However, there is one feature which is being installed in an increasing number of smartphones: "Dual SIM" are the keywords for the Samsung Galaxy S DUOS' most striking attribute.

What a rush. About seven years after the original, the publisher EA is now taking the plunge by releasing a new version of the popular Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The game was no longer produced by the initial developers, but instead by the Burnout creators Criterion. Is the new iteration able to live up to the lofty expectations?

Wasted potential. Lenovo releases a multimedia laptop for just under 770 Euros (~$982) dubbed IdeaPad G780 (M843MGE). The case is the same as in the prior G770 range. Theoretically, the G780 sports strong components but practically, the potent hardware has been cropped ex-factory.

Revamped phablet. The sleeves are too short or it tweaks at the waist - a clear case for a half-size. This was likely what Samsung thought when designing the Galaxy Note. The second edition just cannot be pigeonholed into a standard size. It is now even a bit bigger - and extremely fast.

Office laptop for tight budgets. Lenovo introduces the Edge E335 from its well-known ThinkPad range for particularly tight budgets. The following review will clarify whether the entry-level business machine, priced at a low 459 Euros (~$589), is also compelling.

The redesigned Fire. The $200 original stood alone when it launched, but more and more tablets are now steadily creeping up towards the price point and giving the Kindle Fire series a run for its money. Now with immediate competition, can the Kindle Fire HD 7 rekindle the budget tablet space?

Bonsai. A bonsai is a perfected miniature tree, maintained well and with a lot of perseverance. Is HP's smallest EliteBook also perfect in form and devised with attention to detail?

Mixed double. An Android smartphone and tablet in one - will that work? Asus is the first manufacturer to release a combined solution, dubbed PadFone, which is to kill both birds with one stone on the market. We also ask ourselves what this mixed double is capable of in view of the upcoming market launch of the PadFone 2. Can the smartphone and its tablet casing score as a power duo?

Another try. This is the third attempt by Lenovo to make the affordable 13 inch ThinkPad Edge into a blockbuster in the entry level business segment. A slightly reworked case and improved stability are supposed to make the difference this time around. The question is whether it will be third time lucky?

Full HD peanut. The tiny Asus Zenbook Prime UX21A features an 11.6-inch display and a class-leading resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The other specs are noteworthy as well: Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge dual-core processor, SSD, backlit keyboard, and a sturdy aluminum chassis.

Business and more? About a year ago we put the predecessor model, the 8460p, to the test. The manufacturer HP now introduces the EliteBook 8470p as the successor, although it has the same old look, the internal components have been revamped.

Glamorous Device with a Drawback. When beautiful meets cheap, it will surely be good - or will it? Asus starts out well with the key features - 13.3-inches, Intel Core-i3, 499 Euros (~$646), but when it comes to details, its facade is seen through.

12 millimeter bullet. How many notebooks can fit in a height of twelve millimeters? With its high-end ultrabook, Acer presents this question. SSD-Raid, Intel Core-i7 ULV CPU, IPS Full HD touch screen and unibody style - any other questions?

An insubstantial spectacle. EA and Danger Close have created a serious opponent to Call of Duty with the new Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Thanks to the high class Frostbite 2 engine the action-beast is especially good in terms of visuals. Next to the hardware requirements we also take a look at the gaming qualities in this review. Can the title reach the level of a shooter-elite?

Office Notebook for Occasional Gaming? Lenovo has built a quiet office notebook on the AMD Trinity platform, which, supposedly, delivers decent gameplay for the latest games. So is the laptop worth its price tag of 479 Euros (~$620)? Where does it stand in terms of performance? The following review will answer those questions in detail.

Fast and mobile? Thanks to its fast mass storage, a 256 GB SSD, and an Ivy Bridge generation Core i5-3320M processor, our review model can score in terms of system performance. More power! Having already taken a close look at the cheap US version of the ThinkPad T430s, we now turn to the high end configuration with a Core i7 processor and a 180 GB SSD. Can Lenovo justify a price of over 1700 Euros (~$2200) for its business athlete?

A Tough Companion. "Full power for professional use in a light and compact notebook" is what Dell aims to offer with the Latitude E6330. This is the 13.3-inch model equipped with a current Ivy Bridge processor and (optionally) a fast SSD.

Fast and conservative? Samsung presents the successor to the popular 830 series: the new SSD 840 Pro series. Samsung promises to set new records in performance and power consumption. Ideal for notebooks? We will find out in the following review.
