After some tests and number-crunching, Intel has concluded that the theoretical bandwidth for PCIe 3.0 x16 (126.4 Gbps) and even PCIe 3.0 x8 (63.2 Gbps) will be more than sufficient for 4K UHD HDR gaming at 144 FPS.

The external monitor will have 1080p touchscreen and 4K UHD options with USB Type-C charging and an internal battery as standard. Hopefully, its specifications and performance will match the sleek narrow bezel chassis.

Xiaomi has released the Mi Band 4 and it seems likely that the device will not disappoint. The Chinese company has created three variants of the fitness tracker, which is brimming with features that appear to contradict its considerably low price. Xiaomi has the basic model of the Mi Band 4 retailing for just 169 yuan, which is about US$24.

Nintendo announced a ton of games coming to the Switch this year and early 2020. HTC has released new phones for 2019, albeit not flagship-level and only for the OEM's home market. They are the U19e, as projected earlier, and a new Desire-line device. They have 6.0- and 6.2-inch displays, and have double and triple rear cameras, respectively. The U19e will be sold at a price of approximately US$474, whereas the Desire 19+ will cost about $318.

Amazon and Walmart are currently offering the Sony PlayStation Classic micro-console for US $30, its lowest price ever. The Nova 5 sub-premium smartphone is now confirmed to launch on June 21, but rumor has it that the Nova 5i premium mid-range model is also slated to launch around the same date. Specs leaked on TENAA for the Nova 5i include a Kirin 710 SoC, 6 or 8 GB of RAM plus 128 GB of storage, a 6.4-inch display with 2,30 x 1080 resolution, rear quad-camera setup with 24 MP + 8 MP +2 MP + 2MP sensors, and a 3,900 mAh battery.

OnePlus has released a new colorway for the 7 Pro. This SKU (Almond) is available in the US or Canada so far. In addition, development leaks indicate that the OEM is preparing the new 'back' gesture, which consists of swiping inward from the side of the screen and is also found in the latest Q betas.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is available in India as of today (June 11, 2019). It offers a full-HD+ screen with a punch-hole camera, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for INR19,990 ($US288). The M40 also features triple rear cameras, 15-watt charging and a 3500mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will seemingly have the same battery capacity, at least if the latest set of leaks are to be believed. Previous rumours may have got the number of Note 10 models being released wrong too.

Socket AM4 has proven to be hugely successful for AMD primarily due to the compatibility it offers with all Ryzen CPUs to date including the new Ryzen 3rd generation processors. AMD says that the AM4 socket will continue for the foreseeable future until there is a major inflection point in the platform.

Despite massive business embargoes levied against it by the United States Government, Huawei seems to be rolling along. The Chinese company has reportedly shipped one million smartphones running its custom HongMeng OS to testers through China and Asia. The OS is slated for public release this fall.

The design of the RX 5700 has received a mixed response online with its squashed housing. AMD seems proud of its design though and has announced a 50th Anniversary edition of the Desktop GPU to celebrate being half a century old. It is more than just a paint job though.

As expected, AMD introduced the 16-core 32-thread Ryzen 9 3950X at E3 2019. The Ryzen 9 3950X offers HEDT-level performance for mainstream gamers and content creators with a boost clock of 4.7 GHz and a TDP of 105W. AMD also showed off some performance numbers for the 3950X that can give quite a complex for Intel's HEDT offerings.

Xiaomi is adopting a new policy for the delivery of beta MIUI ROMs. Henceforth, devices that are more than a year older will be gradually withdrawn from participating in the beta program. Entry-level Redmi devices are also exempted from enrolling for MIUI beta. That being said, this does not affect the eligibility of the aforementioned devices from getting stable MIUI updates.

The 14-inch ThinkPad P43s and 15.6-inch ThinkPad P53s balance performance with both mobility and price in contrast to the "world's fastest" ThinkPad P53 and P73 alternatives. The P53s will be both thinner and lighter than its 2018 P52s counterpart when it launches before the end of July.

There’s a possibility that the Dell XPS 15 series will eventually offer consumers a choice of a mobile processor from AMD’s Ryzen 3000 range. Although nothing concrete has been offered in terms of details or plans yet, the likelihood of an XPS 15 laptop taking advantage of Zen+ microarchitecture in the future is growing.

The Intel Gen11 GPU is also expected to outperform the Radeon RX Vega 10 by 4 percent and 11 percent in Rocket League and World of Tanks, respectively. Since Ice Lake-U laptops have yet to launch, however, AMD still has the chance to update its drivers to try and close the narrow performance gap.

At the ongoing Infocomm 2019 conference, Intel announced the Unite Cloud service that leverages the power of the cloud to simplify business collaboration. Unlike the Unite Solution that requires an on-premise PIN server, Unite Cloud offloads the PIN service to the cloud that directly connects to the Unite solution hub PC.

Google Maps is reportedly rolling out a new feature intended to benefit users taking taxis or ride-shares in unfamiliar locations. It starts to send alerts if the vehicle in question starts to deviate from a given route by 500 meters or more. This new setting has only been observed in the Indian market so far, however.

In a recent interview, Mozilla CEO Chris Beard confirmed that premium services are coming soon. A VPN service and cloud capabilities could be bundled in a premium browser for those interested in paying for such features. The VPN and online storage services would be offered by Mozilla and its partners.

The OEM Vivo has posted a video on Weibo, which portrays a project in which an iQOO phone was loaded onto an industrial-grade balloon. These hydrogen-filled craft are used with increasing frequency to visit extreme, near-space altitudes. In this case, the phone was also allegedly still operational after being ejected from a height of about 101,706 feet.

New renders allegedly generated by the OEM OPPO show a device that is capable of both folding and hiding its camera unit via a pop-up module. It is also now claimed that the same camera could have the 10X zoom found in the flagship Reno phone. However, the 'concept' nature of this leak invites some skepticism.

Microsoft has announced that it is bringing a remastered version of Age of Empires II to PC this fall. The new version celebrates the 20th anniversary of the famous real-time strategy game and is newly presented in 4K Ultra HD and features remastered audio as well.
