Plus size, small price. Budget Chinese smartphones are looking and performing better every year. The UMI Plus is no exception at the cost of a larger form factor and subpar camera.

Imperfect. Lenovo has put a largely useless dedicated graphics card in its new 14-inch convertible. Thankfully, the other components ensure the device can do its job as a mobile office companion. Now in Rose Gold. The Kaby Lake update adds little to an already excellent XPS 13 experience. Users will only see marginal benefits in both performance and battery life when compared to the outgoing Skylake XPS 13.

Designer piece. Asus has treated the 5.5-inch ZenFone 3 to premium looks while keeping performance and configuration in mind. The outcome is a good and affordable mid-range smartphone that hardly exhibits any shortcomings in the test.

Zen of wishes? Asus' new tablet with the size of an iPad Mini not only offers good features including WWAN modem and stereo speakers, but it is also comparatively affordable. Does the more expensive competition have a problem?

Compact and enduring, but no more high-end. Sony once again offers a Compact version of its flagship smartphone this year. However, the smaller model will have to make do with slower components from now on. Our review shows why this is not necessarily a problem.

Shaky candidate. The basically good and very long-running premium-range convertible stumbles - of all things - over its redesigned hinges. The manufacturer will have to rework this feature since a shaky display prevents using it in the Laptop Mode. That is all that has to be criticized since the new ZenBook has a lot to offer.
