3DCenter has published another of its 3-week analysis reports of the GPU market in Europe. According to the latest entry, the average price of an AMD GPU has dropped 8% below MSRP for the first time. Nvidia boards, while not under MSRP yet, have also witnessed a sharp price decline.

The "Little Phoenix" is rumored to launch in late 2023 with Steam's second gen Deck handheld console. Apparently, it is a cut-down version of the "Phoenix" laptop processor that is scheduled to launch in early 2023, and the four Zen 4 cores with 8 threads plus the RDNA3 GPU it integrates should bring at least 50% improvements over the Van Gogh Zen 2 + RDNA2 version from Deck 1.

AMD has shared a lot of details about its upcoming CPUs and GPUs at the Financial Analyst Day 2022. The company revealed that the next-generation Zen 4 architecture will bring more than 25% improvement in performance-per-watt. Similarly, the Radeon RX 7000 "Raphael" cards is also set to offer a double-digit increase in efficiency.

Sapphire has made the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon 6700 official. Based on the midrange Navi 22 GPU, the Sapphire AMD Radeon 6700 is a cut-down version of the RX 6700 XT with reduced base and boost frequencies, fewer Stream Processors, and less VRAM. The card is also less power-hungry than its bigger sibling.

Corsair has unveiled its first-ever gaming laptop, the Voyager a1600. Its key specs include an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor, Radeon RX 6800M GPU, a 16-inch 240Hz QHD+ screen, Cherry MX key switches, and a 99 Wh battery. Corsair will confirm its availability later and prices are set to start at US$2,700.

If recent Geekbench 5 benchmark results for the AMD Radeon RX 6300M are true, the entry level GPU looks quite weak. According to BenchLeaks, the RX 6300M is almost 77% less powerful than the RTX 3070 when using the Vulcan API in Geekbench 5.

The new Neptune series is advertised as the world's first mini PC lineup with AMD RDNA2 dGPUs. MINISFORUM is planning to first release a Ryzen 9 5900HX + Radeon RX 6650M model, followed by Ryzen 9 6900HX and Intel Alder Lake variants with the same dGPU.

AMD's Chief of Marketing, Frank Azor, has posted a chart on Twitter illustrating the performance per dollar advantage that AMD's RX 6000 series GPUs enjoy over Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3000 series. Per the chart, the RX 6700 XT offers 30% more performance/US$ and 10% more performance/watt than the RTX 3060 Ti.

This year's Legion Slim 7 is the first all-AMD system of the series. It features the newly released Ryzen 6000H/X processors coupled with the Radeon RX 6000S dGPUs and up to 24 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. There is also a USB4 port, a 16-inch Mini-LED IPS screen option and another with 240 Hz refresh rate.

AMD detailed how constant improvements to Radeon Software has resulted in tangible performance gains in popular games. During the presentation, AMD also briefly touched upon FSR 2.0 and said Deathloop will be the first major title to enable FSR 2.0 support on May 12 with other popular titles to soon follow suit.

AMD launched the RX 6750 XT and the RX 6650 XT today targeting 1440p and 1080p gamers, respectively. The RX 6750 XT looks to take on the Nvidia RTX 3070 while the RX 6650 XT aims for the RTX 3060 12 GB. Both cards offer higher Game and boost clocks and faster memory over their original variants along with increases in TBP and MSRP.

AMD, today, unveiled refreshes to its RDNA 2 desktop GPU lineup. The Radeon RX 6950 XT is a refreshed Navi 21 XTX GPU with a slight bump to Game and boost clocks, increased memory speeds, support for FSR 2.0, and a 335 W TBP. The RX 6950 XT will retail for about US$100 higher than the original RX 6900 XT at US$1,099 MSRP.

TechPowerUp has benchmarked the AMD Radeon RX 6400 on PCIe 3.0 and has found out that the card experiences meaningful performance degradation. For instance, in Doom Eternal, the RX 6400's performance drops as much as 43% compared to the performance registered on PCIe 4.0.

Twitter user Kepler_L2 reports that AMD's upcoming RDNA3-based Navi 31 high-end GPUs appear to offer PCIe 5.0 X16 support according to the latest AMD’s GFX11 architecture patches for Linux. Nvidia's Ada Lovelace next gen GPUs could get the same treatment, but rumor has it that these might launch at a later date.

Retailers are slowly but surely starting to offer more and more sales that result in reasonable prices for very capable graphics cards like AMD's Radeon RX 6800, which has now dropped to a new low price under the US$800 mark.

The high-end AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU can finally be had in certain markets at MSRP levels. FSR 2.0 offers temporal upscaling just like Nvidia's DLSS 2.0, but does not require neural network training so the technology remains open source and compatible with all GPUs on the market. As far as image quality is concerned, FSR 2.0 can be better than native resolution in some cases, but Nvidia's DLSS 2.0 still appears better overall. FSR 2.0 can also boost fps counts significantly (up to 2X compared to native resolution in performance mode).

The latest results of AMD's research in the domain of next-generation image upscaling technology for games will be presented at this year's GDC event. Is Team Red including dedicated hardware for image upscaling functions in the upcoming RDNA3 GPUs?

A mystery laptop running an AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT and an Intel Core i9-12900H has shown up in the Ashes of the Singularity database. Under the "Min 1080p" preset, the graphics card manages to output an average of 109 FPS and scores 10,800 overall, just a smidgen below the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's score.

While a future OTA update may potentially reduce the performance deltas, the possibility that Samsung's 4 nm process could be having an impact on the Xclipse 920's performance cannot be ruled out.

GPU prices are falling drastically and availability is the best it has ever been since January 2021 according to a report by 3DCenter. The current fall in the prices can be attributed to the recent cryptocurrency crash that has seen the price of ETH go down as low as US$2,242.

YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead has confirmed that AMD's upcoming RDNA2-based RX 6X50 refreshes will be based on the 7nm manufacturing node. Coreteks adds that the Radeon RX 6950 XT will be launched in mid-April and that the Radeon RX 6850 XT and the RX 6750 XT do not exist.

The refreshed models include Z TRIO and TRIO PLUS variants for the AMD Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT SKUs. The Z TRIO lineup has slightly higher clocks for the XT SKUs, while the TRIO PLUS one mostly features the same clocks with one exception. Both lineups get redesigned backplates similar to the ones on the X TRIO 6900 XT.

Twitter user BISO BISO has managed to push his Intel Core i9-12900K and AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT to score 62,389 in the 3D Mark Fire Strike benchmark, beating legendary overclocker Kingpin's score of 61,206. The Alder Lake processor was pushed to 7 GHz and the RDNA2 graphics card to 3.1 GHz.

By popular consensus, the Radeon RX 6500 XT is a mediocre GPU with gaming performance on par with the last-gen Radeon RX 5500 XT 4 GB. A member of AMD's technical staff has now tried to explain the situation by positing that the Navi 24 chip featured inside the RX 6500 XT was initially meant to power discrete notebook GPUs.

Even though most reviews heavily criticized AMD's latest Radeon graphics card for its poor performance, the RX 6500 XT can only be bought from an incredibly small number of scalpers who usually snatch up every halfway decent GPU that becomes available in today's shortage-ridden hardware market.

Advertised by AMD as capable of delivering an optimal 1080p gaming experience "with the fastest clocks on a gaming card in the world's first 6nm discrete GPU," the Radeon RX 6500 XT has a starting price of US$199.99. Unfortunately, finding in stock these cards, and even most custom versions with prices below US$250 seems impossible.

AMD's Radeon Pro Twitter account has revealed the release date of a new Radeon Pro workstation GPU. The card is set to be announced on January 19, 2022. Unfortunately, we don't know the exact specifications of the GPU except that it has a Navi 24 chip inside.

The 16 inch ThinkPad laptop with the new Z series design is the first premium ThinkPad with a big screen and the powerful AMD Ryzen H series. It is also the first Lenovo ThinkPad in many years with a dedicated AMD GPU.

The HP Envy Desktop is now official with Intel Alder Lake processors, Nvidia Ampere/AMD RDNA2 graphics cards, up to 128GB RAM, 3TB storage, and more. It will be available for purchase in spring 2022 for an unspecified price.

AMD has taken the covers off its entry-level offerings, the Radeon RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 6400. Both graphics cards use a Navi 24 GPU and feature 4GB of GDDR6 video memory. The Radeon 6500 XT will cost US$199 and be purchasable in the United States on January 19.

AMD's CES 2022 lineup has leaked thanks to WCCftech. The company will announce refreshes of its Zen3 Ryzen chips. The yet to be announced Zen3+ APUs, codenamed "Rembrandt", include Ryzen 9 6980HX, Ryzen 9 6900HX, and Ryzen 7 6800H all of which feature 8 cores and 16 threads. AMD will also announce the Radeon RX 6850M XT, an RDNA2 GPU for laptops.
