Honor formally unveiled the 30S 5G online in China today. It was less expectedly joined by the Play 9a, a decidedly budget alternative. Quite unlike the new Kirin 820 device, it is a dual-rear-camera phone with 4GB of RAM.

A study conducted by a broadband internet research group has found that millennials are more likely to develop anxiety at the thought of a voice-call compared to boomers. 50% of the former group also reported getting their parents to make doctor's appointments over the phone for them. However, this aversion abates in those aged 35 or older.

OnePlus has announced that its next product launch will be held online. It will indeed take place in April 2020, if not exactly when the rumor mill alleged that it would. The OEM promises "the dawn of a true 5G flagship line up" at this event.

Realme will unveil the European pricing and availability of its latest mid-rangers —Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro— on March 31st. Prices are expected to start at £189 for Realme 6 and £249 for the Realme 6 Pro. Both phones come with a 90Hz screen, support for wired charging at 30W, and more.

Planet Computers has only just announced the Astro Slide 5G smartphone and pocket computer hybrid on Twitter and its Indiegogo campaign has already received more backing than the original goal. Xiaomi has posted some exciting news on Chinese social media for owners of its Mi CC9 Pro smartphone. The manufacturer is planning on rolling out Android 10 for the device in April. Huawei is offering three variants in the new P40 series — the P40, P40 Pro, and a P40 Pro+. The P40 Pro+ brings several droolworthy features such as the Leica penta-camera system with true 10x optical zoom and the first commercialized 40W wireless charging tech. A Samsung firmware-monitoring website now claims to have detected an update to OneUI 2.0 for the Galaxy Fold. Unfortunately, it appears to be for the 4G/LTE variants of this device only thus far.
