GeForce NOW adds Control, Hitman and the Shadowrun Collection to its list of games
NVIDIA's GeForce NOW faced considerable adversity on its launch as a game-streaming system. It has seen the loss of numerous titles from multiple studios thanks to their negative reaction to its revenue model in its history. However, it has also gained support from other complementary platforms in the gaming industry, which may have helped it keep up its goal of adding new games on the Thursday of every week.
GeForce NOW has also managed the possibly crucial trick of keeping step with new releases and (most importantly) free games generated by Steam and the Epic Games Store. This week, it has lived up to this achievement once again with freshly-gained support for Hitman and the Shadowrun compendium.
These games are available at no charge from the store from today (August 27, 2020 until September 3. The streaming service has also added Surgeon Simulator 2 (a day-one release on Epic), Control (Ultimate Edition, which means it also includes this game's expansions) and Blasphemous. Uplay's Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry and Rayman Origins are also now playable on the cloud-gaming platform.
