The Nokia 8.3 5G is set to arrive seven months after it was unveiled
The Nokia 8.3 5G was unveiled way back in March. In typical HMD Global fashion, however, the phone has been stuck in limbo since then. That's about to change, though, as a release date has now been cited—at least in the UK.
Going by a listing on UK retailer Clove, the Nokia 8.3 5G will go on sale on October 8. That's still well over a month away and would make it a shocking seven months since the phone was unveiled.
The Nokia 8.3 5G sports a 6.81-inch FHD+ display, a Snapdragon 765G, a quad-rear camera setup comprised of a 64 MP main camera equipped with ZEISS optics, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. At the front will be a 24 MP camera housed within a hole punch. Power will come from a 4500 mAh battery.
These specs ensure that the Nokia 8.3 5G id decently equipped but the listed price tag of £499.98—VAT inclusive—may prove prohibitive.
