Nokia 8.3 5G: Snapdragon 765G and 5G smartphone lands in the UK for under £500
The Nokia 8.3 5G has gone up for pre-order in the UK. Available on Clove, the listing arrives a few weeks after the Nokia 8.3 5G went live on Amazon Germany. Clove is selling the device for £499.98 including VAT for UK and EU customers, or £416.65 for EU businesses and the rest of the world (RoW).
Clove states that the Nokia 8.3 5G is due to arrive in September. However, Swiss retailer Galaxus has narrowed this down to September 15. Please note that this date may only apply to sales in Switzerland or only on Galaxus. In May Nokia Mobile tweeted that the Nokia 8.3 5G would be "soon available", which does not tally with a September release. Correspondingly, Nokiapoweruser (NPU) posits that HMD Global may start selling the Nokia 8.3 5G as early as this month.
The Nokia 8.3 5G contains a 6.81-inch FHD+ PureDisplay, which operates natively at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The 20:9 device has a Snapdragon 765G chipset, four rear-facing cameras and a 24 MP front-facing sensor. The device comes with 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner too. These components are underpinned by a 4,500 mAh battery. Additionally, the Nokia 8.3 5G comes pre-loaded with the Android One edition of Android 10.
