Nokia 7.3 5G leaks confirm flat screen and quad ZEISS cameras for reasonably priced and Q4 2020-bound mid-range smartphone
HMD Global may have just announced the Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4, but it has already been established that the company has more Nokia smartphones to release before the end of the year. One of these smartphones is the Nokia 7.3 5G, which has now been leaked by @OnLeaks and IPEEWorld. HMD Global is expected to unveil the Nokia 7.3 5G in Q4 2020 for €399, but the specific release date remains unknown at this stage.
According to the leak, the Nokia 7.3 5G measures 165.8 x 76.3 x 8.2 mm, which would make it slightly taller and wider than the Nokia 7.2. HMD Global has done away with the waterdrop notch of last year's model; instead opting for a punch-hole for a single front-facing camera. The Nokia branding remains prominent beneath the display though, which gives it a rather thick chin. By contrast, the other three bezels are comparatively thin for what is a mid-range handset.
The back of the device has a steep curve to it, but HMD Global has apparently gone for a flat display with the Nokia 7.3 5G. The renders also show the handset with a capacitive fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a raised camera housing that contains four ZEISS-branded cameras.
The Nokia 7.3 5G is rumoured to be HMD Global's first Snapdragon 690-powered smartphone. According to Nokiapoweruser, the device will have a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, along with a choice between 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. NPU claims that HMD Global will sell the Nokia 7.3 5G with 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, too. All SKUs will supposedly have a 4,000 mAh battery.
