The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Mi 8 Pro (UD) have received new MIUI 12 updates. The updates are rolling out now as OTAs and bring yet more handsets onto Xiaomi's latest OS.

OnePlus is planning to release its first budget handheld codenamed Clover. Unlike the OnePlus Nord, which is only available in India and Europe, the Clover will be available worldwide for under US$200. Specs include a Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage, a 13 +2 +2 MP rear camera setup, 6.52-inch IPS screen with 1560 x 720 resolution and a massive 6000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging.

While ZTE is about to debut the first shipping smartphone with an under-display selfie camera in a few days, Xiaomi has announced that it will be debuting a better solution next year. The company has announced that its third-generation under-screen selfie camera tech matches the expected performance of a regular front-facing camera, which it implies ZTE’s technology can’t yet match.

Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro next month and more details of the phones have now been revealed, throwing light on what will be Xiaomi's next affordable premium offering after the release of the exciting Redmi K30 Ultra.

The release of the Asus Zenfone 7 is almost here, and it looks as though it will have a high refresh rate screen to go with its other flagship specs. The Zenfone 7 also has 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a Snapdragon 865 SoC and three rotating cameras.
