The Realme GT and Narzo 30 5G is coming to Europe via AliExpress
Android enthusiasts in Europe looking for something with the top-end Snapdragon 888 processor, but that stands out from the crowd, might be in luck. A new alternative to the typical OnePlus, Samsung or Xiaomi offerings in the region is on the way, and possibly even with a vegan leather-backed option to boot.
AliExpress has reportedly announced that the Realme GT 5G will start to be listed on its European platform from June 2021. This "performance-focused" flagship was among the first to combine Qualcomm's latest flagship silicon with a 120Hz FHD+ E4 AMOLED display, UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 RAM storage; then again, it did also get itself blocked from AnTuTu thanks to benchmark-gaming tweaks in its Android 11-based UI.
AliExpress has yet to reveal how much the GT 5G will cost in its new market, although Chinese-market units of the phone already on this website start at about US$470 at present. It is slated to be preceded on the official Realme section of the retail platform by the base model of the Narzo 30 series.
These affordable mid-rangers are normally associated with the Indian market, although it now seems they are coming to Europe as well. The 30 5G is due to debut on AliExpress EU from May 25, 2021. Meanwhile, the site is also teasing the imminent release of the Dimensity 700-powered 8 5G the day before this.
