Spectre in disguse. The latest model in the super-sleek EliteBook x360 series manages to be even smaller than last year's model. A few features had to be cut, but we think it's well worth the sacrifice for on-the-go business users.

Notch here, notch there – notch everywhere. With Xiaomi's Redmi series, last year's "innovation" from Cupertino has reached the low-priced midrange smartphone market. The Redmi 6 delivers an outstanding performance in addition to – or perhaps despite – the notch in the upper third of the display. Traditional powerhouse. Heavy Metal by AMD! AMD has released its new generation of Threadripper APUs following the successful launch of its second-generation Ryzen desktop APUs. The new Threadripper series not only makes incremental improvements over the last generation but also introduces Ryzen APUs with up to 32 cores and 64 threads. These new APUs are AMD’s shot at capturing the high-performance processor crown, something that will no doubt put pressure on Intel. We will be focusing on the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X in this review and establish whether this 16-core APU is worth the investment.

Disappointing display. The Lenovo Yoga 330-11IGM runs on a passively cooled Pentium Silver N5000 quad-core processor that performance-wise is on par with Broadwell Core i3s. The laptop is almost entirely silent and offers good battery life. However, Lenovo's choice of display proves to be a serious blunder.

Stock Android experience for price-conscious users. The Spanish smartphone manufacturer BQ is known for a slim UI very similar to stock Android. The Aquaris U2 is no different in this regard. While utilizing only average hardware, the low-priced mid-range smartphone had a surprisingly good performance in our test - at least in some areas.

Super featherweight. While many manufacturers compete as to who can create the smallest and thinnest laptop, the LG Gram series vows to be the lightest. The new LG Gram 15 weighs just over a kilogram (~2.2 pounds), which is one of the lightest 15-inch notebooks currently on the market. Core i7-8086K mobile debut. The Sky X7C manages to fit a Core i7-8086K LGA1151 CPU in a 15.6-inch chassis to make it one of the fastest gaming laptops available. Nonetheless, performance benefits are somewhat marginal. The main draw of the Eurocom laptop continues to be its ease of serviceability.

Budget gaming laptop. With the Nitro 5, Acer offers a 15-inch notebook for price-conscious gamers. It features a 6-core CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512-GB SSD for less than 1,500 Euros (~ $1,760). The matte Full HD display is driven by a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

Getting better. The Pavilion series has come a long way in terms of design and feel. This latest iteration is a major improvement, but still far inferior to the higher-end Envy and Spectre series.

Removable battery, anyone? For about 130 Euros (~$151), the LG K9 offers simple equipment, an affordable price, and a removable battery to its buyers. We clarify in our test how the smartphone with its attractive and robust design performs in everyday life.

More power. Equipped with a 45 W Coffee Lake-H CPU and dedicated graphics, the Latitude 5591 is a more potent version of Dell's 15.6-inch mid-range Latitude 5590. The performance is up significantly, but surface temperature and noise level have increased as well.

A slight increase. The BQ Aquaris U2 lite is supposed to be an entry-level smartphone for demanding tasks. Value-oriented. The new Dell G series caters to gamers on tighter budgets who may find the Alienware series to be out of reach. While core performance remains intact, the cut corners for this inexpensive offering add up quickly.

Hexa-core for business. Dell's mid-range Latitude 5000 series gets the Coffee Lake-H treatment and dedicated graphics as well. The new 14-inch model with 45 W processor and GeForce graphics outperforms the sibling with ULV processor, but the additional power draw creates more heat and shortens battery life. The display remains less than impressive.

Radiant. The LG G7 ThinQ is the successor to the G6, one of 2017’s first smartphones with a 2:1 display, frequently referred to as an 18:9 aspect ratio. Notably, LG has followed one of 2018’s smartphone trends in designing the G7 ThinQ with a notch. The display is more than its notch though, with the G7 ThinQ being the first smartphone with an mLC display, which can get extremely bright. LG has improved the camera too and iteratively updated the hardware to Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC. Challenge to fight. The Honor 10 represents this year's flagship smartphone of the Huawei subsidiary, offering high-end specifications with a strong dual camera at a mid-range price. Moreover, the smartphone is offered in new and unusual colors. A lower price is fine, but we evaluate in our test, which shortcomings you have to accept in exchange.

Return of the modular design. Motorola sticks to the modular principle with its Moto Z series and releases the newest generation of the mid-range model in the form of the Moto Z3 Play. MAXimum view. For fans of bigger smartphones, Wiko has the 6-inch device View Max on offer. Featuring mid-range technology and the modern Android 8.1 operating system, it should satisfy most demands customers could make on a current phone. Spanish mid-range smartphone with pure Android. The Spanish manufacturer BQ has launched a new version of its flagship X series. The Aquaris X2 offers pure Android and impressed us during testing with an often-overlooked feature that you can usually only find in top-range smartphones.

Texting like in the olden days! After the 3310 the Nokia 8110 4G is HMD Global's second retro cell phone. The bananaphone is much better equipped and even connects to 4G/LTE networks. Find out whether it is capable of more than just delighting enthusiasts and nostalgics.

The full broadside. The display of the Vivo Nex Ultimate covers 91% of the front. Thanks to all sorts of innovative ideas, this works even without a notch. This review will tell you, if the Chinese high-end smartphone is suitable for everyday life, or if it is just a showpiece.

Classic tablet PC. Fujitsu's flagship tablet, the Stylistic Q738, allegedly offers the best possible convertible experience. With business features, like a smart card reader and a stable plug-in keyboard, the device is primarily intended for customers in the business sector. But what can buyers ultimately expect from this new convertible, priced at around 1600 Euros (~$1875)? Our review reveals the answer.

Very good disappointment. AMD Ryzen, mostly known for offering CPUs for consumer products, now want to compete with Intel in the business market. The EliteBook 745 G5, based on the very good EliteBook 840 G5, seems to fit the bill - at least on paper. You can read in this detailed review if it is convincing in reality as well!

Entry into gaming. The Dell G3 series offers affordable gaming laptops. We took a careful look at the most affordable Dell notebook with a Coffee Lake CPU and a mid-range GPU. You can find out in our review whether a purchase is worthwhile and if the 17-inch laptop offers any more advantages.

Lightweight performer. The new Vivobook is lighter and thinner than most 15.6-inch laptops equipped with the same GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. The keyboard and poor serviceability, however, bring down an otherwise great multimedia machine.

2-in-1 all-rounder. With the Yoga 730-15IKB, Lenovo delivers a 15.6-inch convertible that is suitable for gaming and for consuming media content. The device scores some major points with its slick metal case, backlit keyboard and a Thunderbolt 3 port. The touchscreen can be operated with the fingers and also with the included stylus. Update: FHD model with a better price-performance ratio.

Bikram Yoga. The ThinkPad X380 Yoga steps back into the limelight, this time with a less powerful processor. Despite the reduction in clock speed, the i5 variant still sweats under pressure. This and other small shortcomings make for a good package with some small flaws.

A BlackBerry with a physical keyboard. The BlackBerry KEY2 combines the manufacturer’s traditional physical keyboard with a few special security features that also runs Android OS. Find out what the KEY2 is good for in this review.

Seeing double. Asus wants to one-up Apple's Touch Bar with an even crazier idea of turning the traditional touchpad into a full-fledged 1080p secondary display. Surprisingly enough, it's actually quite useful and more than just a novelty. We can see the unique feature becoming a mainstay in Asus' flagship series in another generation or so when all the wrinkles and drawbacks can be ironed out.

AMD for Business. HP's EliteBooks offer an attractive design, AMD technology, and many security features. However, these business notebooks frequently stood out with a high power consumption, their low display quality, and a mediocre battery life. We evaluate in our review of the HP EliteBook 755 G5 whether something has changed with this newest generation.

As cheap as possible. The Y5 2018 is currently one of the cheapest smartphones in Huawei's western line-up. For 120 Euros (~$140; US version ~$120), buyers will get the standard fare in this price bracket. Is that enough for the new Huawei smartphone to survive among the swarm of competitors?

Small all-rounder. With the Redmi 5A, Xiaomi has a low-priced, compact Android smartphone on offer, which is suited for simple applications and price-conscious buyers. We reveal what users can expect from the small 5-inch, sub-100-Euro ($116) smartphone in our review.

Quality does not have to be expensive. With the Redmi Note 5A Prime, Xiaomi offers a robust 5.5-inch device for a low price. Now with four cores. Apple updates the MacBook Pro 13 with a new quad-core processor and a True Tone display for 2018, but only the more expensive model with the Touch Bar. At the cutting edge. The Alienware 15 R4 is a 2.5-cm (~1 in) thick 15.6-inch gaming laptop that can be configured with up to an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU and a Full HD display. Extremely affordable. With the 7A, Honor promises an affordable smartphone with a large display area. In addition, the smartphone offers some particular functions such as dual SIM with a separate microSD card reader, and a surround mode. Modern and rugged. A hardened tablet with all the amenities one would expect from a consumer tablet and more. The Xplore XSLATE L10 runs on the same processor as the latest Ultrabooks with NFC, 4G LTE, and even a removable battery and a full-size HDMI port.

The umpteenth attempt. The Alcatel 3X is supposed to be a further step in reviving the formerly very popular brand name. The strong points of TCL’s latest mid-range smartphone are Face Key, wide-angle camera and App-Launch via the fingerprint sensor. Newly developed design. The Alcatel 5 is supposed to attract customers as the new design flagship of the Chinese company TCL. In order to do that, it throws out the established design arrangements and reorders them. The result is a smartphone that pursues other solutions but is weak in the detail. We clarify in our review what buyers of the Alcatel 5 can expect.

Design made in Germany. Gigaset's GS185 is the first smartphone made in Germany after a very long time. Its more affordable cousin, the Gigaset GS180, is also designed in Germany. We took a closer look at the 149-Euro (~$174) smartphone equipped with Android 8.1, VoLTE, Dual-SIM, and a 5-inch display.

Display Docking Station. 2x DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA, LAN, USB-A ports and 87 watts of power for your laptop - these are the specs for this little docking station. In our tests, the Titan had to prove its abilities on both Windows and Mac machines. Our review also covers the disadvantages you need to know about before you buy.

Lift-off. The current AORUS X7 DT is one of the fastest gaming laptops on the market. The new model, the X7 DT v8, packs an Intel Coffee Lake hexa-core processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU and a 144 Hz display. Find out in this review whether AORUS has done enough to put the X7 DT v8 at the pinnacle of gaming laptops.

Excellent for the price. At only $900 USD, the entry-level MSI GL63 is able to play most if not all modern titles at 1080p with some tweaked settings for smoother frame rates. The stereo speakers are surprisingly decent and fan noise is relatively low for such an inexpensive gaming machine.

Even better than before. This third generation model adds a few new features to last year's model including a NumPad, fingerprint reader, narrower bezels, and a slightly larger battery. Fans are quieter and processor temps are cooler. Physically, however, the system is not any lighter or thinner.

15-inch display in a 14-inch chassis. Schenker Technologies expands its portfolio with an interesting gaming notebook. Not only does the XMG Neo 15 feature a mechanical keyboard, but it also has slim bezels. Is it a serious rival for the Gigabyte Aero 15X, MSI GS65 and the Razer Blade 15?

Lightweight luxury. Compared to its predecessor, the LifeBook U938 is slightly lighter. The biggest upgrade is the quad-core processor, but not much has changed otherwise. Battery life is still decent, but falls short in direct comparison with its biggest rivals.

Razor-sharp. After offering 13-inch, 14-inch, and 17-inch Blade laptops for years, it's about time Razer launch a 15-inch model to complete the series. This GTX 1060 Max-Q SKU is every bit as impressive as the GTX 1070 Max-Q configuration from top to bottom. Assuming, of course, that the asking price of $1900 USD hasn't turned you away.

Plastic with style. The Alcatel 3V is priced well and should be powerful enough for casual users. Alcatel has managed to make the device look stylish despite using a plastic case. Find out in this review whether the Alcatel 3V’s internal hardware is as good as it looks.

Pushed to the limit. The P52s is back, this time with an improved screen and a slight bump in processing power. Is the 4K display an improvement for the P52s, or is the display too much for the weak GPU?

Hard to beat. Not everyone needs an i7, dedicated GPU, and WQHD display. Even without those assets, the T480s is still a dependable office companion whose formidable performance exceeds that of many competitors. Super AMOLED FHD+. Samsung's Galaxy A series is designed with a certain kind of customer in mind: those who want a smartphone with a simple look and high manufacturing quality. We thoroughly tested the 6-inch Galaxy A6+ and report in this review what buyers can expect. The smartphone is priced at around 370 Euros (~$425; international version ~$350).

Overachiever. As a successor to the high-class 14-inch Blade, Razer has introduced a new compact gaming notebook with 15-inch edge-to-edge display. Find out how well the slim gaming notebook performed against its competitors in our extensive review.

Gamer-turned-workstation. Zotac has swapped out the GeForce GTX 1060 in its ZBox Magnus series for the workstation-equivalent Quadro P3000 to create a powerful mini PC for professional users. Temperature and fan noise are excellent when compared to workstation laptops. Some slight throttling behavior at extreme loads prevent this from being a must buy.

Made in Germany. With the GS185, Gigaset launches the first smartphone designed and assembled in Germany. Considering the price is significantly below 200 Euros (~$233), expectations should not be pitched too high. However, the GS185 offers a trendy 2:1 display and a strong 4000 mAh battery. Tablet or smartphone? If you cannot decide which category the HTC Desire 12 Plus falls into, consider it a phablet. The Desire 12 Plus has a 6.0-inch display, a fingerprint sensor, runs Android 8.0 and it is a dual-SIM device. Find out how the HTC Desire 12’s big brother fares in our review.

Six Cores the Richer. Aesthetically, not much has changed with the GT63 since its predecessor nearly two years ago. But the upgrades to a Core i7-8750H and GTX 1080 are promising by themselves… do they live up to expectations?

Core i9 gamer. Eurocom is skipping the i7-8750H and going straight for the jugular with the more powerful i9-8950HK. Performance is indubitably faster than the last generation Core i7-7700HQ, but some repeatable throttling behavior is holding back the system.

Cooler, faster, better. The mid-2018 edition of the Strix GL703 Scar Edition comes with hexa-core Coffee Lake-H i7 processor, same Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics and a significantly redesigned cooling system. The changes are largely positive.

A good compromise. The Schenker XMG A707 is designed to attract both gamers and multimedia lovers. To this end, the manufacturer has equipped the more expensive version of the laptop with a Core i7-8750H and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. iMac for professionals!? Apple's iMac is a popular all-in-one system in two different sizes, but it is primarily designed for private users. Professionals only got the Mac Pro so far, but Apple now sells a pro version of the iMac with Intel Xeon CPU and AMD Radeon Pro GPU. We review the entry-level model for almost 5,500 Euros (~$6359).

Night and Day. With the Galaxy A6 (2018), Samsung brings a chic-looking, mid-range smartphone to the market, which scores major points with its 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display and two 16 MP cameras. In our review, the Android smartphone proves to be very capable, but it has a few weaknesses.

I know that one! With Coffee Lake and a good mid-range GPU, Dell presents the G5 15 as a gaming notebook for the limited budget.
