OnePlus teases new mid-range Smart TVs with MEMC motion compensation, 93% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and Dolby Vision certification

OnePlus has teased details about its new mid-range Smart TVs ahead of their July 2 release. The two, devices thought to be 32-inch and 43-inch TVs, will offer MEMC motion compensation, 93% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and Dolby Vision certification, among other features.

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 temporarily sold out on its first official day of sale; available for US$31.99 on AliExpress for the non-NFC variant

Xiaomi officially released the Mi Band 5 for sale today, and the popular activity tracker has already apparently sold out. While the official Xiaomi store is reporting refreshed stocks will be available by June 30, those who cannot wait that long can find the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 on AliExpress for around US$32 to US$34.

Honor 9A and Router 3 set for global launch on June 23

Honor is hosting a VIP Day Launch Event on June 23 where it will unveil the Honor 9A and Router 3 among other products. Both are budget devices, with the Honor 9A resembling the recently-announced Huawei Y6p. Update 06/19/2020: Honor has informed us that it will no longer launch the Honor Router 3 at its VIP Day Launch Event.

Hands-on images and key specifications of the Galaxy Watch 3 have been revealed ahead of the series expected Galaxy UNPACKED launch event on August 5. The 41 mm and 45 mm models sport subtly different designs, with the smaller of the two resembling the original Galaxy Watch.

Qualcomm launches the new RB5 platform for next-gen robotics

Qualcomm has unveiled the RB5 platform, aimed at the consumer- and enterprise-grade robotic devices of the future. To this end, it is based on the QRB5165 processor, which can handle the imaging sensors, digital signals, machine learning and AI capabilities expected of these machines. It also supports up-to-date connectivity, 5G included.
