Xiaomi has introduced its most premium offering, the Mi QLED TV 75 smart TV in India recently. The QLED TV 75 offers the Android 10 smart TV platform with Google Assistant, Chromecast, and Alexa support. The TV also features wide color gamut support, a MediaTek MT9611 SoC, and the company's PatchWall content aggregation service that connects to more than 25 streaming services.

Xiaomi has launched several high-end premium smart TVs before in China including 8K models with 120 Hz refresh rates and mini-LED displays. After introducing the Redmi Smart TV X65/X55/X50 series in India last month, the company has now introduced the QLED TV 75 in India to take on the likes of Samsung, LG, and Sony in the premium smart TV segment.

Xiaomi's smart TV offerings in India have traditionally addressed the entry-level to upper mid-range segments. Availability of local manufacturing has also helped keep the costs competitive. In line with that tradition, Xiaomi's new Mi QLED TV 75, though the company's most premium offering till date, has been priced quite affordable compared to the competition at ₹1,19,999 (US$1,600).

The Mi QLED TV 75, as the name suggests, offers a 75-inch QLED 4K UHD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate with MEMC support, 1000 nits peak brightness, and a 178-degree viewing angle. The smart TV's display comes with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and sports a 192-zone dynamic local dimming array. Offering a color depth of 8-bit+FRC, the QLED TV 75 covers 100% NTSC (typ.), 95% DCI-P3 (typ.), and 99% BT.709 (typ.) color spaces. For audio, we get a 30 W stereo speaker setup with two tweeters and four woofers with support for Dolby Audio and Atmos via HDMI.

Powering the Mi QLED TV 75 is a MediaTek MT9611 SoC. The MT9611 offers an ARM Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz and a dual-core Mali-G52 GPU. The SoC supports 2 GB of LPDDR3 memory, and the TV comes with 32 GB of onboard storage.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a HDMI 2.1 port, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports, RJ-45 LAN, DVB-T2/C and DVB-S/S2 digital tuners, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the software side, we get Android 10 and the usual bundle of Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Chromecast, and Google Assistant. Xiaomi is also enabling Alexa support on the Mi QLED TV 75 via a future OTA update, which is a first for the company. There's also the Xiaomi Mi Home app that enables controlling all Xiaomi smart devices.

The Mi QLED TV 75 will be available on mi.com and Flipkart starting from April 27 12 PM IST. Buyers with HDFC Bank debit and credit cards also stand to avail a ₹7,500 cashback and up to 12 months of no-cost EMIs.
