Xiaomi launches the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition with a 4K 120 Hz QLED display and 48 MP dual cameras
Xiaomi's TV business continues to prosper in its home country, China. The country has steadily captured a large market share in the segment, and will be hoping to grow even further with the release of its newest offering, the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is, of course, a 4K QLED TV. Anything less would be inadequate. In addition to that, it offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as 1200 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood is MediaTek's MT9950, with 4.5 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Other features impress. 100 W speakers, WiFi 6 support, and 120 Hz MEMC technology. Three HDMI 2.1 ports report present, with one supporting 120 Hz input, and another offering eARC support. They're joined by two USB ports. Quite interestingly, the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition looks to be built for multimedia, as it sports a 48 MP dual-camera setup.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is available in three different sizes: 55", 65", and 75". They're priced at CNY 5,999 (US$930), CNY 7,999 (US$1240), and CNY 9,999 (US$1550) respectively.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is currently only available in China, but you can buy the Sony Bravia X90J on Amazon.
