Xiaomi has launched its newest "extra-pro" laptop in China. The 15.6-inch Mi Notebook X Pro has an OLED display of a 3.5K (3456 x 2160) resolution, driven by Intel 11th-gen Core i5 or i7 processors and up to 4GB RTX 3050 Ti GPUs. Xiaomi has packed all of this into a CNC-machined chassis that starts at 7,999 yuan (~US$1,240).

Xiaomi has entered the OLED laptop arena with the new Mi Notebook X Pro. Its high-res 15.6-inch display has bezels of 4.03 millimeters (mm), for a screen-to-body ratio rated at 91% by the OEM. Then again, it did not cover its aspect-ratio during its launch.

Xiaomi has also provided Tiger Lake-H35 processors, with the Core i7-11370H in the highest-end SKU, for this new Gorilla Glass-enhanced ultrabook. It would also have 4GB of GDDR6 NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti graphics, as well as up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a PCIe-NVMe SSD of 1TB in size.

The Mi Notebook X Pro joins the Mi 11 Ultra in having Harmon Kardon-tuned speakers, which are 2W stereo drivers in this new laptop's case. There is also a USB type-C port that supports 130W fast charging rated to charge its 80Wh battery by 50% in 25 minutes.

Xiaomi is already taking pre-orders for this new PC, starting at 7,999 yuan (~US$1,238) for the base model or 9,999 yuan (~US$1,549) for the Core i7-powered option, both of which are only available in a slim Space Gray aluminium chassis of about 17.5mm in depth. However, they are only available in China thus far, with no hint of international availability for the X Pro as yet.
