Although Nvidia is yet to launch the GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti officially, we exclusively reported their performance compared to other Ampere mobile and Turing cards. Our results determined that the RTX 3050 performs more or less on par with a GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q. Little is known about its specifications, other than the fact that it uses a GA107 GPU, packs 2,048 CUDA cores, and 4GB of GDDR6 memory.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 has since appeared on multiple listings, including one for ASUS' TUF Dash F15. Amazon Italy seems to have jumped the gun early (via @momomo_us, Videocardz) and listed the notebook on its website. The listing also reveals that the graphics card is paired with a four-core Intel Tiger Lake i5-11300H processor.
Other ASUS TUF Dash F15 specifications include a 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz. While the high refresh rate is a welcome addition, the relatively weak RTX 3050 mobile could have a hard time hitting those numbers in most modern-day games. It could serve as an excellent entry-level esports laptop, though, as popular games such as DOTA2 and CS: GO are relatively light on resources.
The ASUS TUF Dash F15 also ships with a paltry 8GB of RAM and 512GB of solid-state storage. Thankfully, the RAM doesn't seem to be soldered down, allowing users to upgrade it to 32GB. ASUS has thrown in one Thunderbolt 4.0 port and Wi-Fi 6, too. However, the Amazon listing doesn't let you buy the laptop yet. Its price isn't listed, either.
