Latest ASUS ZenFone 8 leak details three model variants, including a Mini model with a flip-up camera; 3.5 mm jack incoming potentially for all models
Dealntech claims to have discovered new information about the ZenFone 8 series, which ASUS will unveil on May 12. While code details outlined that ASUS planned to release multiple ZenFone 8-branded smartphones, Dealntech has provided more precise details.
According to the website, ASUS will launch the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Pro on May 12, mirroring last year's ZenFone 7 series release. However, Dealntech adds that ASUS will also launch the ZenFone 8 Mini, a device that the website believes may actually be sold as the ZenFone 8 Flip. Regardless, the device will have a 5.92-inch display, as we have discussed previously.
Additionally, the device will be available in five RAM and storage configurations up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Dealntech asserts that the ZenFone 8 Mini will have a 4,000 mAh battery too, which it can recharge at up to 30 W. Importantly, the ZenFone 8 Mini will seemingly be the only ZenFone 8 device with a flip-up camera. A 3.5 mm headphone jack may be present across the ZenFone 8 series, though. All ZenFone 8 series handsets are expected to have Snapdragon 888 SoCs.
