Many Apple fans may have welcomed the long-anticipated launch of the AirTag as a new anti-theft measure. However, the OEM saw fit to develop them in a way that conveniently requires the user also buy a holder or clip in order to use them as intended.
Considering this initial expense (US$29 at the least) necessary to bring the new smart tags into their lives, some users might be tempted to take a heat-gun (or even a drill) to their new AirTag to make them truly compatible with their wallet or keys.
However, Spigen wants to help avoid the risks of irreparable damage by offering their latest takes on the AirTag holder instead. They match the OEM's familar trendy Valentinus or tough Rugged Armor phone cases, and thus add their vegan leather or carbon fiber-accented looks respectively to the smart tags.
The Valentinus case integrates a round keyring, whereas the Rugged Armor variant boasts the OEM's "popular" carabiner/bottle-opener. They are both priced at $24.99 on Spigen's website. Alternatively, the company is also now teasing its upcoming AirTag-compatible card-holder, as well as a Silicone Fit take on their case.
