The 12.6-inch Reform modular laptop runs Debian Linux and comes with a programmable firmware. A couple of rare Xiaomi smartphones are currently being offered for sale: a Xiaomi Mi 6 Mercury Silver Edition and a Xiaomi Mi 7 prototype sample. The special variant of the Mi 6 can be purchased for 19,999 yuan (US$2,831) but you will need to have very deep pockets if you want to get your hands on the extremely rare Xiaomi Mi 7 device.
Update: Xiaomishka believes the so-called Mi 7 is a disguised Mi 8.

HiSense launches first smartphones with color E-ink display, tablet with blue light free monochrome RLCD

HiSense is better known in the US and global markets as a maker of TVs, however the company also makes other products including smartphones and tablets. While it makes regular smartphones it has just launched a new range of smartphones featuring color E-ink displays as well as a new E-ink tablet.

Stable Android 10 update now hitting the Mi CC9 Pro; offers hope for Mi Note 10 owners

The Mi Note 10 is branded as the Mi CC9 Pro in Xiaomi's home China, and the phone is now receiving the stable Android 10 update after months of waiting. The update carries the software version number "MIUI V11.1.1.0.QFDCNXM" and is a 2.7 GB download.
