Huawei TalkBand B6 fitness tracker with SpO2 sensor most likely suspect in official teaser that reveals product launch date
There have been quite a few leaks in regard to the Huawei TalkBand B6 fitness tracker/Bluetooth headset combination wearable lately, and now it seems Huawei has decided to let the cat out of the bag – at least partly, anyway. The Chinese OEM has posted a promo image of a device with the taglines “all new” and “hidden mystery” (depending on the translation) on its official Weibo account.
It seems more than likely the company is promoting the Huawei TalkBand B6, which was apparently spotted not too long ago being worn by Huawei executive Yu Chengdong. The fitness tracker, which should offer features such as an SpO2 sensor, heart-rate monitoring, and various sports modes, has a distinctive curved display which is larger than that of the TalkBand B5 (1.53-in vs. 1.13-in).
If it is the Huawei TalkBand B6 being promoted here, then the device will be launched in Beijing on July 30. As well as the above-mentioned features, the TalkBand B6 sports the Kirin A1 chip and can offer users a maximum use range of 150 m. It comes with USB-Type C fast charging and in a range of colors and wristband materials.
