The NanoPi NEO3 is now purchasable, having been announced just under a month ago. The single-board computer (SBC), to recap, measures 48 x 48 mm and is based on the Rockchip RK3328 SoC. The quad-core processor includes four ARM Cortex-A53 cores and an ARM Mali-450 MP2 GPU.
As the image below demonstrates, the NanoPi NEO3 has a Gigabit Ethernet connection, USB 3.0 and a GPIO header. The SBC also has a USB Type-C port for power. There is a microSD card slot too for providing storage and acting as the boot drive and a 2 pin connector for adding a 5 V fan.
The NanoPi NEO3 is orderable from FriendlyARM now from US$20.00. Choosing 2 GB of RAM instead of 1 GB is a US$5.00 surcharge, while FriendlyARM charges US$2.00 for a case in which to house the SBC. The company also offers several other accessories for the device, including a USB to TTL serial debugging cable.
