Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition: Rumored price and launch date given for the affordable flagship with a triple-camera setup
The spiritual successor to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE), is apparently on its way, as details about the affordable flagship start leaking online. We already reported about some of the specs, which include an SD 865 processor and 120 Hz OLED. Thanks to a report from Korean-language outlet The Elec (via SamMobile), it seems we now know the S20 FE will be fitted with a 32 MP selfie camera and feature a main camera system consisting of a muted 12 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP configuration.
According to the report, Samsung wants to pin a price tag of 900,000 Korean won on the Galaxy S20 FE, which is around US$751. This is a pretty steep price to pay for a supposedly affordable flagship, but it still pales into comparison for the likely price tags of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that should be appearing on shelves soon.
As for the Galaxy S20 FE launch date, September has already been mentioned but the new source claims it’s more likely to be October, with Samsung planning on shipping five million units of the slimmed-down flagship smartphone by the end of 2020. RAM and storage for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is expected to start at a minimum of 6 GB and 128 GB, respectively.
