Samsung may have only released the Galaxy M31 in March, but it is already close to bringing a successor to market. The Galaxy M31 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel, five cameras and an Exynos 9611 SoC. The device also has 6 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage and a 6,00 mAh battery.
Samsung has been teasing the device, called the Galaxy M31s, on Amazon India. As the screenshots below demonstrate, the Galaxy M31s sports a 6,000 mAh battery and an AMOLED panel like its predecessor. Additionally, the Google Play Developer Console has confirmed that it will be running an Exynos 9611, 6 GB of RAM and Android 10 out of the box.
On the surface of things, it seems that the Galaxy M31s offers almost identical specifications as its predecessor. The only change that we notice is that Samsung has switched to an "Infinity-O" hole-punch display from the notched one with which it equipped the Galaxy M31.
The Galaxy M31s, which has the model number SM-M317F, will be announced on July 30. There is no word on pricing yet, but it will launch at 12:00 IST (UTC+05:30).
