The company reported that having a lockscreen showing a contact number resulted in 3 times the chances of recovering such a device. The Cupertino-based company has now confirmed its latest launch event, which it will host in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park on March 25. Apple is expected to announce its streaming service to rival Amazon Prime Video and Netflix along with possibly a new iPad, AirPods and the long-delayed AirPower.

Huawei has won this year's Best Connected Mobile Device of Mobile World Congress 2019 for the Mate X. The TCL subsidiary Alcatel has launched its new 3T 10 tablet at MWC19. This device has a 10-inch screen and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. It also comes with a Google Assisant pre-install. The Alcatel 3T 10 is compatible with an optional "Audio Station" stand which, as the OEM claims, adds 7 hours of battery life (for some tasks) and a dedicated 'docked' interface.

Today, (February 19, 2019) Qualcomm has launched its second modem for use with 5G-New Radio (5G-NR): the Snapdragon X55. It is rated to support download speeds of up to 7 gigabits per second (Gb/s) and upload speeds of up to 3 Gb/s. Unlike its predecessor, the X50, this modem is also compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G.

Vivo's IQOO sub-brand is rumored to be dedicated to premium foldable devices. The leaked renders posted on Weibo show a outwards-folding device with very thin bezels.
