A new report published by a Chinese media outlet asserts that the flexible-display maker Visionox has agreed to supply its displays to the OEM Huawei. This agreement will apparently take effect from early 2020. Therefore, this brand (not to mention its subsidiary Honor) could start producing devices with next-gen screens very soon.

Visionox is a company that develops and makes the flexible display technology that made the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha a reality in 2019. Now, a Chinese news site claims that it has agreed to supply Huawei with the screens that could help bring its own rumored plans for foldable or flexible devices to fruition.

According to this outlet, Huawei has already designated Visionox as one of its suppliers. The flexible-display maker is allegedly to start sending its samples to the OEM in February 2020, and to start mass production based on the same from March.

Huawei is currently said to have 5 to 10 million orders for Visionox this year. However, there are also rumors that the latter may not be equal to such a volume in 2020. Nevertheless, this report asserts that these display units are destined for products of the Nova line, as well as the Honor brand, in the near future.
