Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha official - stuns with most radical smartphone design yet seen
Xiaomi has taken the covers of its absolutely stunning Mi Mix Alpha. The device features a wrapround flexible AMOLED display it calls “Surround Display” which gives the device an incredible 180.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. This is a thoroughly ultra-high end device that combines its one-of-a-kind display with an irresistible amalgam of titanium, sapphire glass and ceramic.
As you might expect for such a technological showcase, it is packed with completely state-of-the-art technology everywhere you look. This includes a Snapdragon 855+ mated to 12 GB of RAM combined with 512 GB of internal UFS 3.0 storage. It runs MIUI 11 which is based on the latest Android version 10. It also features a 4,050 mAh nano silicon cathode battery which the absolute latest and greatest when it comes to keeping things powered. Like the recently revealed Vivo NEX 3 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the Xiaomi eliminates physical buttons in favor of virtual touch-based controls. It’s cameras also include the all-new 108 MP Samsung ISOCELL primary sensor, a 20 MP wide-angle sensor and a 12 MP telephoto sensor. Although Xiaomi is calling the device a concept phone, it is already being manufactured in limited quantities and will ship in December for an eye-watering US$2,800. No word yet on a release outside of the Chinese market as yet.
