Huawei is slated to launch its flagship P50 smartphone series in early 2021. According to a new leak, its vanilla model will have 5 rather different rear cameras, arranged in a new slim housing. It has been worked up into high-end renders that also show quad-curved displays and singular punch-hole selfie shooter.

The ZenBook Duo series is aching for a panel provider who can mass produce OLED displays in the form factor that Asus needs. The IPS ScreenPad for the UX482 works better than it did on the UX481, but its core viewing angle disadvantages remain.

OPPO may have set a rough date for the launch of its 2021 premium smartphone series, likely to be called the Find X3 and X3 Pro. The new ChromeBook CX9 and Flip CX5 models from Asus powered by the latest Intel Tiger Lake-U CPUs show that the Chrome OS laptops can easily match the performance of the traditionally more powerful Windows-based systems. Nubia has confirmed that its RedMagic series of premium Android gaming smartphones will get a new generation in 2021. This new device's first teaser reveals that its 4500mAh will be capable of charging by up to 120 watts (W). It is also likely to launch with the top-end Snapdragon 888 processor.

Motorola is said to have a new premium phone in the works with the code-name "Nio". It also has a rumored model number (XT2125), which has shown up on the Federal Communications Commission, (FCC) website. This new leak may thus confirm the device will launch soon with a 20 watt (W) power brick and a 5000mAh battery.

Asus will be dropping last year's Core i9-10980HK in favor of the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 9 5900HX on its latest dual-screen ROG gaming laptop. It's not coming cheap, of course, with a starting price of almost $3000 USD.

The new ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 i hybrids are essentially compliant with the Intel EVO specs, as they are powered by Tiger Lake CPUs, come with 2x Thunderbolt 4 connectors and total weight is kept at 1.3 Kg / 3 lbs. Qualcomm has introduced its second-generation 3D Sonic Sensor under-display fingerprint reader. The new scanner offers a 77 percent larger fingerprint reader area and is 50 percent faster than its first-gen scanner which featured in Samsung’s Galaxy S20 and Note20 models.

In the year 2021, Lenovo expands its high-end series ThinkPad X1 with another model. The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is thinner than all other ThinkPads and at the same time the first 3:2 ThinkPad. It also is one of the few laptops to utilize Titanium metal as a chassis material.

After a long drought in terms of Windows tablets, Lenovo introduces a new competitor to the Microsoft Surface Pro for business customers. The new Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable contains the newest Tiger Lake CPUs and has a Thunderbolt 4 port.

TCL has just launched its first ever NXTPAPER tablet at CES 2021. It is built around the OEM's recently-developed e-ink competitor, and is slated to deliver a "paper-like" viewing experience. It is joined at the virtual show by the new TAB 10s slate.

At CES 2021, HP has announced the Envy 14 aimed at mobile content creators. The Envy 14 offers a combination of the Core i5-1135G7 and NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q and comes with a 14-inch IPS touch display that is color-calibrated out of the box.

HP has announced two new Intel Tiger Lake-powered convertibles; the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G8 and HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8. Both notebooks can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM, 2TB of solid-state storage, 4K screens, and a 78Wh battery. HP will tell us more about their prices as its January 2021 approaches.

HP has launched a new 2-in-1 notebook called the HP Elite Folio. Some of its key specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chipset, 13.5-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1280) IPS LCD panel, up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and 5G. It will be up for sale starting February 2021.

HP is introducing an upgraded Elite x2 G8 business tablet with up to Core i7 Tiger Lake options. The Elite x2 G8 offers both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity and integrates Tile to help locate the device when misplaced.

Mac Otakara is quick on the draw in 2021 with its Apple rumors. The latest concerns the next generation of iPhones and how they will look. These devices will apparently still have a notch, although it will shrink somewhat in this new generation. They may also turn out not to be as slim as the 12 series, although this might well be no bad thing.

Samsung has made the Galaxy A02s - a potential 2021 cost-effectiveness champ - official, but has yet to release it to any market. A new leak has led to speculation that the US will be first among them. The OEM has certified a number of A02s variants that could correspond to various carriers in the country.

The new 15.6-inch XPG Xenia Xe ultrabooks can be powered by either an i7-1165G7 coupled with 16 GB of LPDDR4x-4266 RAM or an i5-1135G7 coupled with 8 GB of RAM. There is no dGPU option and the prices seem a bit spicy, but at least ADATA is including a touchscreen and 2x Thunderbolt 4 connectors.

Dell is running a slew of winter discounts on its official deals page. OnePlus last updated its premium 8T smartphone on December 29, 2020. However, this version of OxygenOS caused a strange issue in which videos on the device would pause out of nowhere. The OEM has just re-released the same update to address this, leaving it otherwise unchanged.

Apple is thought to finally introduce iPhones with 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rates with the successors to the 12 series. However, only their highest-end variants are thought to get LTPO OLED displays, which, according to the latest word on this subject, are to be made by Samsung. However, LG might take over in this department in 2022.

Lenovo and NEC have teamed up to introduce new Tiger Lake devices in the Lavie range. The Lavie Mini is an 8-inch handheld gaming PC that comes with optional gaming controller and gaming dock accessories. The Lavie Pro Mobile is a 13.3-inch ultrabook that combines form and functionality without much compromise on the connectivity front.

Acer has introduced the Chromebook Spin 514 — the first Chromebook to be powered by AMD Ryzen 3000C series of Chromebook APUs. The Chromebook Spin 14 is offered in both consumer and Enterprise variants and sports a durable chassis, adequate port selection, and support for Android apps from the Play Store. The Enterprise version can also be availed as part of Acer's Device-as-a-Service program.

Lenovo has introduced the mid-range Tab P11 Android tablet powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. The Tab P11 comes in several RAM and storage variants and features a 2K display that covers 70% NTSC color gamut. Buyers can also equip the Tab P11 with the optional Keyboard Pack and Precision Pen 2 for enhanced productivity.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has only just been launched; however, other members of its series are hot on its heels, according to recent rumors. The latest tip comes from a Vietnamese YouTube channel that asserts the 11 Lite is coming with a design similar to the vanilla model. However, it will have a mid-range Qualcomm processor and 6GB of RAM.
