The LG Gram 2021 laptops are released to the US market
LG updated its Gram laptop line with 11th-gen Intel Core processors with integrated Xe graphics and its first ever 16-inch variant for 2021. These PCs also have up-to-date 16:10 aspect-ratio displays in addition to their selling-point of a pointedly low mass. They also now have active purchase links on lg.com/us.
Then again, only some SKUs are live in this manner right now. They include the 14-inch base model, which has the Core i3-1115G4, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. Its price has been set at US$999, which is nicely serendipitous given its weight (999 grams).
It is joined by its i5-1135G7/8GB/256GB sibling (at $1,199), as well as the 16-inch i7-1165G7/16GB/256GB ($1,399) and 17-inch i7-1165G7/16GB/2TB ($1,749) options in having live Buy buttons that are fulfilled by LG in the US.
Then again, some consumers might want to hold off for different configurations. They are currently listed on LG's website, but are yet to become actionable. The Gram's new convertible versions, which have either 14- or 16-inch Wacom-enabled displays, are also not to be found in these pages at present.
However, they are on their way, and will sell at $1,699 and $1,999 respectively on their US release, which is set for the middle of March 2021. Meanwhile, the 14-inch convertible is also listed on Amazon, although it is out of stock at the moment.
