However, the latest tip suggests that this device might in fact be the Lite version of the Tab S7 Plus instead. It has been touted as being 5G only up until now; however, there may now be scope for a 4G/LTE model as well.

It looks like Samsung plans to unveil a successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 in the not-too-distant future. Four model numbers of unreleased Samsung tablets suggest so, at any rate. The new devices could either be called the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Galaxy Tab S7e or Galaxy Tab S8e, according to SamMobile. Plus or XL versions are supposedly on the way too.

Apple's iPad Pro is the quintessential tablet series, and Samsung's Galaxy Tab has always lagged slightly behind. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ in the near future, and the phones have now been touted to offer a feature that may bring them closer to the iPad Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has been given the OnLeaks treatment, with the device looking uncannily like its predecessor. The Galaxy Tab S7 resembles the iPad Pro 11 too, right down to its 11-inch display. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ in August alongside a host of other hardware including the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ expected to sport a battery with an enormous capacity of over 10,000 mAh

The expected battery capacity for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 device has been discovered, and it seems that a potential Galaxy Tab S7+ model will end up with a battery capacity of over 10,000 mAh. This is a huge step-up from the 7,040-mAh capacity of the predecessor Galaxy Tab S6.

Galaxy Tab S7: Certification confirms Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity for Samsung's Q3-bound premium tablets

The Wi-Fi Alliance has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S7 series will support Wi-Fi 6 and 5G. Expected to arrive as 11-inch and 12.4-inch tablets, Samsung is said to be planning Wi-Fi and 4G models too. Samsung is thought to be launching the Tab S7 series in Q3 2020.

Coming in 11-inch and 12.4-inch variants, Samsung will pitch the Galaxy Tab S7 series as a direct competitor to Apple's fourth-generation iPad Pros. With an S-Pen included in the box and optional 5G, could the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus offer better value for money than the new iPad Pro range?

Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, and it is an absolute stinker. While the device may look modern with its thin bezels and slim form factor, the inclusion of a TFT panel means that you should give the Tab S6 Lite a miss. Seriously, why release a £339.00 (~US$425) tablet with a TFT panel in 2020?
