New Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite leak reveals marketing render and several key specifications
Evan Blass has delivered more details about the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, one of Samsung's next budget tablets. According to Blass, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has an 8.4-inch display, which contradicts information published by WalkingCat in February. Blass has not provided any further details like its panel type or screen-to-body ratio, either. Presumably, Samsung will equip the Tab A7 Lite with an IPS panel, as it used that display type on the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4. Typically, Samsung reserves OLED displays for its flagship tablets, such as the Galaxy Tab S7 series.
Moreover, Blass claims that the Tab A7 Lite has a MediaTek Helio P22T SoC paired with 3 GB of RAM. While we do not know how much storage the Tab A7 Lite will have, Blass asserts that Samsung has included a 5,100 mAh battery. Incidentally, the Tab A7 Lite has the same battery capacity as the Tab A 8.0 (2019), which achieved decent runtimes during our tests.
Samsung is expected to reveal the Tab A7 Lite in June. While it is unclear when the Tab A7 Lite will arrive during that month, Samsung is likely to release it simultaneously alongside the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite.
