The 2019 Galaxy Tab S6 is both smaller and lighter than the more expensive 2020 Galaxy Tab S7 to still be a reasonable buy for most families. The tablet originally launched for 750 Euros or $730 USD.

The Galaxy Tab S6 may be two years old, but that doesn't mean it's obsolete for home users. The official Samsung online store is selling the Galaxy Tab S6 for $430 at the moment down from its original price of $730. The keyboard book cover, however, is not included in the deal.

It's worth noting that the tablet will ship with Android 9.0 or Android 10 as the Android 11 update is not scheduled until May 2021. Even so, the fact that Samsung will update the tablet to Android 11 is more than what we can say for a lot of other OEMs and their older Android devices.

Based on our time with the Galaxy Tab S6, we praised its fast processor performance, build quality, quad speakers, and long battery life. The newer and heavier Galaxy Tab S7 includes a brighter and slightly larger display (11-inch vs 10.5-inch), but their native resolutions are identical at 2560 x 1600.
