Samsung adds more features to the Galaxy Watch 3 with its latest software update
Samsung released the Galaxy Watch 3 six months ago, but the company is still adding features to the smartwatch. The latest update, a 74 MB download, adds support for Samsung's SmartThings platform, allowing you to use its 'Find' functionality. The smartwatch logs its location without needing LTE, so you should now be able to find the smartwatch is you ever lose it.
Additionally, the update adds a few more interesting features, including a new walking challenge in which you can compete against your friends. Samsung has added new fitness programs for a home workout, while the smartwatch should automatically detect workouts quicker than before. Moreover, the Galaxy Watch 3 now has an app that automatically starts a timer after you have finished washing your hands. For reference, Apple and Google have already added comparable handwashing features to watchOS and Wear OS.
