Modder Digital Dreams recently posted a YouTube video showcasing Forza Horizon 5 running with ray-tracing enabled in gameplay sections, via a Cheat Engine tweak. While system specs weren't given, it appears that Digital Dreams is running the gain at a fairly locked 60 FPS.

EVGA's Precision X1 overclocking tool recently received a major update that overhauls the VF (voltage-frequency curve) editor, as well as a way to synchronize the in-app frame limiter with the frame limiting option in the NVIDIA control panel.

An HP Omen 17 variant running the 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700H Alder Lake processor and laptop version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has been spotted online. It scores 90,114 and 127,392 on the Geekbench Vulkan and OpenCL benchmarks, respectively, and confirms that the latter will ship with 16GB of VRAM and 58 SMs.

Third-party retailers have started selling the Xiaomi Pro X 14 2021 laptop globally. The 14-inch laptop has a 120 Hz display combined with an Intel Core i7-11370H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. The laptop is available with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, too.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series has been enjoying rising popularity with Steam users again according to the hardware and software survey for October. In fact, no less than 10 GeForce 30 series SKUs have featured in the top 20 cards in terms of percentage change for the month. The biggest riser overall was the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660.

Asus has updated its VivoBook Pro models, offering Intel as well as AMD processors in combination with dedicated Nvidia GPUs and OLED panels. While it takes good advantage of the component performance, Asus made some cuts in the connections.

Lenovo has now unveiled the Yoga 16s 2022 in full to its initial market of China. The PC offers multiple ports in a CNC-machined metallic body with multiple ports. It plays host to a Ryzen 7 5800H processor that will run Windows 11 out of the box, as well as RTX 3000-series graphics and a choice of high display refresh rates.

According to reports, NVIDIA is preparing to release three new graphics cards before the end of the year. All are revisions of existing and past models though, with the RTX 2060 12 GB arriving first in early December.

This model appears to be based on the same GA103 die that was leaked back in June with the Lenovo ThinPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 laptops. It is rumored to launch at CES next year with 7680 CUDA cores and up to 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM.

Alienware has unveiled its next-generation Aurora R13 and Aurora R14 gaming PCs. While the Aurora R14 is available with AMD Ryzen processors, Alienware has delivered the Aurora R13 with Intel's latest Alder Lake silicon. Alder Lake configurations start at US$230 more than Ryzen configurations, though.

Lenovo will be introducing a mid-cycle refresh of the Legion 7i soon. Called the Legion Y9000K 2021 Exploration Edition, the laptop features largely similar internals as the Legion 7i but may now come with liquid metal thermals and a DisplayHDR1000-certified mini-LED display option. Availability details are not yet known.

The latest 16-inch gaming laptop from Asus has been discounted to a more reasonable final price considering the GPU involved.

The Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max SoCs have been thoroughly tested by AnandTech with some dramatic but also unsurprisingly familiar results. While the M1 Max rubbed shoulders with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU and AMD’s Radeon 6800M in synthetic benchmark testing, both it and the M1 Pro were left floundering in game tests.

Rockstar recently released the official minimum and required specifications for the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy remasters. Calling for an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 at minimum, alongside a quad-core processor, the 20 year-old games actually require beefier hardware than Assassin's Creed: Odyssey to run.

Several Geekbench OpenCL listings of new M1 Max-powered Apple MacBook Pros are now available. In one such comparison with a Dell XPS 17 9710 laptop powered by the Core i7-11800H and an RTX 3060 Laptop GPU, the RTX 3060 seems to have a 51% advantage over Apple's offering. However, Apple's implementation is able to achieve the present score at a much lower power consumption compared to the XPS 17 9710.

Youtuber @Cycu1 put together a comparison video of gameplay footage for God of War’s PC port with the existing PS5 enhanced version. The video highlights broad parity between the two, but with minor improvements on PC to shadowing and ambient occlusion.

The latest Vision 14 SKUs include Intel's Tiger Lake-H35 i5-11300H and i7-11370H CPUs plus an optional RTX 3050 Ti dGPU, yet still retain the same slim and light chassis from the i7-1165G7 versions. After having his GeForce RTX 3080 order remain unfulfilled for an entire year, a buyer in Poland reportedly ordered a special cake commemorating the “anniversary,” and sent it to the retail. Surprisingly, this drove the retailer to actually fulfill the order, a year after it was placed.

Moore's Law Is Dead is back with quite the allegation. Lenovo continues to teases the Yoga 16s 2022 on its Weibo channel. The company has now shared hands-on images and has confirmed that USB Type-C charging will be supported. The device will be available without a dedicated GPU, too.

According to reports, NVIDIA is working towards releasing the GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 3050 Ti and a new RTX 3080. All will feature different GPUs, with only the RTX 3050 relying on the lowly GA107.

Acer has announced the Predator Orion 7000 desktop PC aimed at enthusiast gamers. The Predator Orion 7000 features Intel 12th gen Alder Lake processors, DDR5-4000 RAM, and a choice of Nvidia RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 GPUs. Acer said the Predator Orion 7000 offers vastly improved thermals with AIO cooling along with a host of connectivity options.

The L21 PRO models offer significant upgrades over the early 2021 variants, including the Intel Core i7-11800H processors, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a PCIe 4.0 X16 slot for the RTX 3070/3080 dGPUs and an M.2 PCIe 4.0 X4 slot for storage solutions, plus a MUX switch for external displays. XMG removed the microSD card reader, on the other hand.

Lenovo has already hinted that the 16s 2022 will define the offerings involved in the next round of Yoga PCs, in the Chinese market at the least. Now, it has revealed some potentially crucial internal specs for this upcoming convertible. It will have a Ryzen 5000 platform with NVIDIA RTX 3000-series graphics.

ASUS has unveiled the Turbo GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, expanding its Turbo series. The GA104-based card retains the Turbo series' dual-slot design and offers a 30 MHz overclock compared to NVIDIA's reference specifications.

While the high-end models from Nvidia's Ampere generation (RTX 3060, RTX 3070, RTX 3080) have been on the market for a while, the mid-range segment had to wait a bit longer for new GPUs. The XMG Focus 17 shows what an RTX 3050 Ti with a high TGP is capable of.

According to reports, NVIDIA is planning to bring the RTX 3090 Ti to market soon. Reportedly, the card will arrive with a GA102-250 GPU, 21 Gbps VRAM and a 450 W TDP. The RTX 3090 Ti may sport a new 16-pin power connector, too.

Razer has refreshed the Blade 15 Advanced with more configurations. The company has cut the price of the Razer Book 13 by US$200 too, bringing the machine down to US$999.99 for the cheapest model. All new configurations ship with Windows 11, but Windows 10 also remains an option.

If this new leak is accurate, we could see the RTX 30 SUPER lineup launched throughout the first quarter of 2022. Additionally, Nvidia might up the minimum VRAM capacity to at least 12 GB for all of its desktop tiers. The RTX 3070 Ti with 16 GB and RTX 2060 with 12 GB may be launched to compensate for the ongoing shortages.

ASUS and Noctua have finally revealed their collaborative graphics cards, both based on the GeForce RTX 3070. Supposedly, the pair are the quietest air-cooled graphics card in their class and should not exceed 35 dB(A) under load.

Nvidia did not do itself a favor with the strongly varying TGPs of the current Ampere generation. Even though the XMG Focus 15 races past most other laptops with the RTX 3050 Ti, the RTX 3060 is clearly the better choice for gamers.

The new Oryx Pro laptops are powered by the Intel Core i7-11800H processor that can be coupled with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. On the graphics side, we find the RTX 3070 and 3080 Max-Q dGPU options and there is a MUX switch to unleash the full potential in games and demanding applications. It also comes with a Thunderbolt 4 connector, but the prices are quite steep.
