Price-conscious gamers beware: The Medion Erazer Deputy P25 MD64015 has been available for purchase in Germany at Aldi for 1,249 Euros (~$1,410) since December 9. For those of yon in the UK, you can also find it on Amazon for £1,035.97 (~$1,369). We already had the chance to get an in-depth look at the 15-inch device.

Let's get it out of the way right away: Unfortunately, the Medion Erazer Deputy P25 didn't turn out to be as stunning as it seemed at first. Although the Ryzen 7 5800H and the GeForce RTX 3060 can develop their performance well to very well over longer periods of time, the noise development is very high in 3D mode (regardless of whether the Performance mode or Entertainment mode of the preinstalled Control Center are being used).
Further shortcomings are the modest speakers and the disappointing display. By 144 Hz standards, the 15-inch display is pretty slow. The brightness and color-space could also be improved.
On the other hand, we liked the fact that the battery can be accessed from the outside. This feature is rarely seen nowadays. It's also nice that you can install up to 3 mass storage drives.
You can read more about the strengths and weaknesses offered by the gaming laptop in our review of the Deputy P25.

I discovered my interest in computers in my childhood, growing up with MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 in the early 1990s. I was especially fascinated with computer games, even from an early age. From Monkey Island through Lands of Lore to Doom, I tried every game I could get my hands on. I have been working for Notebookcheck since 2009 with my focus mostly being on high-performance gaming laptops.

I've been fascinated with technology ever since I got my very first Android smartphone, which was quite a while ago. The power packed into such a small footprint still amazes me. Learning to program made my understanding of technology deeper, and at the same time, it expanded my interest to the area of desktop computers and laptops. All this led me to enjoy reading and watching reviews of new devices, and that's how I stumbled upon Notebookcheck. I immediately found their reviews to be very comprehensive, and luckily, I've even had the chance of translating them since 2019. When it comes to the huge field of technology, I'm currently also interested in specializing in Java programming.
